It’s an insane premise of a guy being on what ostensibly feels like a Greg Daniels (The Office, Parks and Recreation) or Mike Schur (Brooklyn 99) sitcom, but he’s not an actor and doesn’t know it’s a comedy, so it makes it also a reality show. It’s high concept but it’s honestly some of the most brilliant tv I’ve seen in the last decade. It’s also surprisingly hilarious AND wholesome. It’s on some weird service called FreeVee, but you can also watch it on Amazon Prime. I can’t recommend it enough so if any of you do watch it, please let me know.

Here’s a catch-all thread for Steam sales. Currently, it’s the summer 2023 sale. The Steam Deck is discounted, as well as thousands of games. Yeah, I remember when it first came out my wife and I were absolutely blown away. Usually we would watch a show and then talk about them, but with this show we’d watch it, and then sit there, and just think quietly.

Fucking love this stupid bad game. After a literal quarantine from when everyone in my house but me had Covid, this was all I had. It fit the sad, lonely feeling I was feeling, camped out in my mancave. It was my companion in a cold time. Now I’m going to play this every January.

My Dad bought a Steam Deck the same day I told him it runs Civ 6. He’s a Civ monster, thoooousands of hours. He’s the one you guys should be playing with.

Stuck in Guardians of the Galaxy, dabbling in New Vegas, grinding in Dead Cells, and eternally playing RDR2.

…to play with a 2 year old. You can mostly control what’s going on and let them control Diddy when they want to play. It’s a mid game otherwise, but the tagging in and out make it PRIMO old man/young kid gaming. So, Mom’s and Dad’s who game, do you have any other game suggestions like this?
