Happy Birthday Poke! 26 is a good year. You've done some living but you're not old yet.

That's not what Tales From the Crypt taught me.

Werewolf if I have control. They will wreck your shit if you fuck with them, and they can still eat regular things.

I think it depends on whether or not you can find something that jives with you. Eating and whispering or whatever irritates me, but watching chalk being crumbled soothes me. It's probably from back when I'd fuck around during weight training days in school by playing with the gym chalk. I'd have a bar in dust after a few minutes and it felt so calming.

Yes 35 -
Yup. 2020 has been so stressful, so I have zero shame in admitting it. It really surprised me when I woke up five hours later after watching a long chalk crumbling video. Like I didn't know that shit could actually put you to sleep.

Happy Birthday, and that is the way to celebrate.

Set It Off - 5/10 I probably only rated it this high because of the EnVogue song and I greatly appreciate that sex scene with

rants Haters/Complainers: Legacy of Spleen
DragonSinger replied to mthor's topic in General Discussion
Me: My time has come. My back is feeling decent, Fall coming has given me more energy, and bills are off my mind until mid October. My laptop: 😵 I'm genuinely starting to wonder if I'm fucking cursed. At this point of my life, I don't even want fancy shit. I just want to know what it feels like to have a victory without a major setback minutes later. -

rants Haters/Complainers: Legacy of Spleen

Tik Tok sucks. Those short music clips in their viral videos always trick me into the thinking the full song might be all right to listen to, but when I look it up, only that one lyric is worth a damn and the song is fucking trash. -

Fuck every show and movie that uses Hurt by Johnny Cash after they already put a knife in your heart. -

White Complacency should be added as one of the Deadly Sins. I wish I could punch everyone who called me an alarmist in the throat. -
*Shrugs* I like talking tv nostalgia, even the pervy stuff that aired. I do feel bad because we totally hijacked @sahockeygrl15's thread.

I secretly laughed at the idjit kids trying to make out blurry images on the Playboy channels because I was thinking to myself, 'Y'all really don't know how it's going down on Showtime after midnight'. I didn't say a word either because they totally would have gotten caught and ruined it for me. Showtime may have played some boring stuff during the day, so I think it flew under the radar until Red Shoe Diaries became popular.

Sorceress, a.k.a. stuff I shouldn't have been watching late night on Showtime as a kid, but my insomniac ass would watch anything with magic in it. ANYTHING!

The Witch - 5.5/10 Well this was the second letdown. It was interesting at first but then went downhill for me because the family was annoying, and this felt like reading an old history book. Not just the speech they were using(I honestly didn't have any problems with that), but the way the story played out. Giving this movie a true old folklore vibe wasn't bad in itself either, but there's something about the execution of it that left me bored. Oh now I can kind of think of why. They went the old folklore path but did annoying things like the 'creepy twins' trope which annoys me because it's always something that forces weirdness into movies when it's unnecessary. The dialogue also felt unnatural at times because of that same forced creepiness. Train to Busan - 10/10 I unwisely started this at the beginning of the pandemic, so I had to stop midway because the characters were too likable and it was giving me anxiety. Fast forward to today when I finished it, and it was nice having this after continually being disappointed by recent horror movies. Seeing this at different points of the pandemic is weird too. I started it before the masks' drama, so I more appreciate the human selfishness on display in this film. But it's not completely cynical which is something I want to watch right now. Also, HOW DARE THEY choose that adorable little girl so that I had to worry throughout the movie about her surviving. They could have at least made her a little annoying. I had zero anxiety about them kids in The Witch
