Wolf Man 8/10 (That was actually pretty scary. Now that was a much better werewolf movie.)

Last Night in Soho 8/10 (That was a trip. Should have seen that twist coming, but I admit I did not.)

Bullet Train Explosion - 7.5/10.  I didn’t think someone could make a relatively intelligent action movie about a crisis using the same premise of the dumb but awesome Speed.  Even if it’s a sequel to the film that inspired Speed.
 

The main issue is while the crisis is intelligent and tense, the main villain is NOWHERE near as fun as Dennis Hopper.

Soul 9/10
Flight Risk 7/10
Juror No. 2 3/10 (This felt just so overly contrived. Odds of something like this happening would have to be so astronomically small in the first place, but then the decisions the characters make also felt just designed to create an unnecessarily dramatic moral/ethical dilemma of a situation.)
Companion 9/10 (This one kind of fooled me, in that for a while it seemed like it wasn't going to be about what I thought it was going to be, but then it wound up being that after all, just not in the way I thought it would. Ultimately though, really pleasantly surprised to say I ended up loving it.)

Revenge of the Sith in 4DX - Still has hokey acting at times, still memorable as all hell, still a ton of fun.  7.5/10 for being a fun movie but a flawed one.  The Starfighter battle in the beginning with the moving chairs was awesome.

Thunderbolts* 8/10
Mission Impossible The Final Reckoning 8/10

If it's indeed the last MI movie for Tom Cruise, it was a pretty good way to close the franchise out. I liked the first part a little more though. This one felt a little unnecessarily drawn out time-wise and a bit too much with the (maybe not quite impossible but at least) highly improbable things they needed to pull off and have go their way this time.

Venom: The Last Dance - 8/10.

Pretty good movie.  Not as good as the last one but I still enjoyed it a lot more than the first one.

The songs were fun and it was nice to see that one actress from the first movie again.

Cabin Fever (2016 remake) - 2/10

I’m not sure how or why they took a movie that wasn’t very good in the first place and made an almost shot-for-shot remake that managed to be a lot worse than the original, but here we are. Also don’t know how I’m just hearing about this remake almost 15 years after it was released.

it was… fine. kinda paint by numbers. no real character development. crap dialogue. some of the action sequences were good. that’s about it. honestly i enjoyed thunderbolts more. 7/10

Ballerina - 6.5/10

Solved my complaints of not having enough Ana in No Time To Die, but nowhere is she as sexy here as those 7 minutes.

There's a flamethrower beam struggle though, so that's dope.

Predator: Killer of Killers - 8/10

It’s both like and unlike Prey where the idea is pretty simple and back to basics with the Predator, but I like that there are different kinds and the characters are all unique, if archetypes.  Also more Arcane style animation!
