Henry Tomasino made me think they were going for Suspicion by Cary Grant and pussed out more than halfway.

I’d never change the death since it’s a fairly historic horror scene. Vávra’s scrapped plan on clearing Henry’s name would only work if there was true clarity on who he even was. The Mussolini line in chapter 5’s such a deep cut that they failed to deliver on.

Maybe because I grew up watching MST3K but I prefer to watch B horror movies over mainstream big budget horror movies.

Also while I'm not a horror movie buff the one thing in horror I've always been a fan of is horror anthology TV shows. With that being said I prefer my horror anthologies to be stand alone episodes and not stand alone seasons.

Ive subscribed to an embarrassing amount of "boxes" and one was for Japanese snacks. 

The first thing I found is that most of the "sweet" treats would not be sweet to the American palate. Which works for me because excessive sugar gives me a headache. 

Pocky was ok, and there were these yellow cookies that were just plain yellow slabs, but they were pretty good despite the presentation, but i also paid the extra 9 bucks to have mochi shipped to me.

My weeby inner child thought this would be the ultimate smack....this is what they always eat for energy in JRPGs.

Mochi fucking sucks. Its the dough....why just raw ass dough? My son (he was like 10 at the time) waited until i was gone and tried to bake some...he said "i really think they should be cooked but it has icecream in it...why didnt they cook it before putting icecream in it."...i simply didnt have an answer because i too, felt like it should be cooked.

Most of the other stuff in the boxes that came was a mixed bag but since i dont know the names, i would just be describing shit wrong

There's a popular myth that Black Sabbath got a ton heavier when they started tuning down from standard E to C#, BECAUSE of this tuning. I call bullshit.

While Master of Reality, their first album recorded in C# tuning, has basically the heaviest guitar tone in the universe, and the next album Volume 4, mostly follows suit, the two albums after, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath and Sabotage, have much lighter guitar tones, despite still being in C# tuning.

Master of Reality's massive guitar tone might have SOMETHING to do with the detuning, but it definitely isn't the whole story.

It's funny because the original concept of musicians "selling out" had nothing to do with changing their sound or trying to find a wider audience. It was about musicians using their music to sell products, such as being used in a TV commercial for a car.
