This thread is about breakfast, Ron Swanson's most favorite meal of the day.

I had a pork al pastor (marinated pork) and egg quesadilla. It was amazing!

chai tea.

I love chai tea lattes, especially when I have a sore throat. (I realize you may not be drinking a chai tea latte; I was just reminded of it.)

The only thing I ate this morning is a handful of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. I’m not a big breakfast eater, even though I love most breakfast foods.

see, i am not a breakfast eater either, but as i age into this decrepit old woman, i find that i have to have something. just half a banana, or piece of bread.

have to drink 20 sips of water (8oz). that is always a must, 1st thing.

but, because i wasn't a breakfast eater, my body was on this 'rock star/don't need shit/i'll live forever' mode, and ignored basic humaning 101

so, i'm breaking old OLD habits. the worst is trying not to snack after 20:00. the other, get something in the body in the morning.
but i digress.

got to get something in the tummy. breakfast bar. something.

What about a piece of toast? Would that help?

Same thing I have every morning - I try to take over the world a bowl of gross oatmeal and a cup of something. Currently that's milk tea.

On the rare day off, I treat myself to a sausage, egg and cheese from Caribou and a larger Cooler [ either Caramel High Rise or Turtle Mocha ] because the Cooler will last all morning long while I do other things.

I had two breakfasts 😂

7am.  Oatmeal and coffee.

8:30am.  Someone brought bagels, cream cheese and coffee!!  So, had sesame bagel with strawberry cream cheese and a medium roast coffee w/cream and sugar.

Oh, it was incredible! I wish more places would offer that around here. (I'm sure there are, but this particular Mexican food joint is my favorite.)

How did you cook it?

Yeah, I wanna know, too. Buddy, you’re not putting it in the microwave, are you?

Not that, bro.  I mean, everyone knows you usually mix in Mexican chorizo with whatever you're cooking like eggs or potatoes.  You're not going to microwave a bowl of chorizo like you're reheating a bowl of chili because you're not going eat it by itself.

On a side note, I didn't realize there was a difference between Mexican chorizo and Spanish and Portuguese chorizo until I was watching Andrew Zimmern's Delicious Destinations. European chorizo is an actual formed sausage (with a casing) unlike the stuff we're used to.

I know. But he did say he wasn’t cooking chorizo right so that’s where my brain went. 🤣

That makes a lot of sense, actually.

The correct question does not include a microwave but rather a toaster oven.

Yes, that’s a good point.

I will do that, just as soon as I have the chance. As long as I can find it in a restaurant. I don't really cook. :LithiumSmileySurprised:

Only if you're trying to claim the insurance money.

Cool. Let’s cosign on a policy then bucko. Good thing you’re the only lawyer in the ASMB/UEMB. Nobody’s else is smart enough to know that we are committing F R A U D. 😉

Sautéed mushrooms and kale in butter, seasoned with cayenne pepper, garlic salt, minced onions, and Parmesan. It was stupid good. I love cooking! It’s the most adult I feel.

Spam is awesome, and I will legit fight anyone who says otherwise.

Okay, I probably won't fight. But seriously, Spam rocks.

I have a feeling we might be the only ones on Team Spam :LithiumSmileyLaugh:
