What did you have for dinner?

Recommended Posts

Back on topic, homemade chicken biryani from an Indian friend. The last two times I tried to make my own biryani it came out too oily and mushy. Plus, it's so labor intensive . . . despite that, I wanna try making it again this week. I must be a masochist.😩

Edit: Jesus Christ, this biryani was spicy. I may be waking up in the middle of the night and regretting this soon. 😩

I had BK, but apparently Mom and the kids left at some point and brought me back two SBs, so just ate one of those...now, nightmares

Wtf is a SB?

I'm too high to figure this shit out.

Made some sweet chili chicken thighs in the crockpot, seared 'em a bit first, with some rice. I can't find my go to brands for Thai Hom Mali so I got another one with elephants on it. Not quite as good on its own like my usual but good enough. Plus it was like $17 for a 20lb bag so I'm fine with that.

Took the leftover rice and added in some butter, cumin, Mexican oregano, ground achiote, and some other spices and then mixed that in with some chipotle and garlic ground beef taco meat I made and some queso to make burritos.

Last three days, TG food. Might move to takeout tomorrow, because there's too much food to validate cooking, but I can also probably do another day of TG food.

I'll admit, shit turned out better than I predicted....even my mom's dressing isn't as terrible as it usually is.
