New Testament has all the really plausible stuff like walking on water, rising from the dead, making water into wine and duplicating fish and bread, pregnant virgins, implying that people can live in a desert for 40 days and nights without food, water, or shelter wearing only rags. Christianity would be like if someone found Scientology, fully bought into it, then decided it needed to be longer; and edit out some of the original stuff because pigs taste good. HardcoreHunter
Lets see I said that covid vaccine would be in clinical late August to mid September. I said how long it would take for supplies to be restocked. I said a vaccine would be approved for a first run Late November to Late January. I said that Hurricanes happen every year between late August and mid December like clock work. I said I spoke to voice actors and funimation about question's I've had. Even back then I said take it for a grain of salt, but I've been pretty damn accurate on all of my educated guesses I made back in March. The VA and Funi thing is more of a matter of fact though; that you and empress felt was impossible for someone to send emails and receive replies. Which I now have to publish all of my private conversations because some people go insane asshole mode. Also my post about religion is a joke. It's overly generalizing things. You can make anything sound petty if you overly generalize shit and cherry pick the most insane or mundane parts. Take a break for a while if shit online is getting under your skin to that level. You're taking shit too seriously.

Funny that you mention that, there's this one guy at my workplace that's 66 now, and he's a major MAJOR koolaid drinker / bible thumper. If you could talk to him about normal things he was alright to talk to, but every other conversation was about God/The Bible, and every other other conversation was about people that have died and how "you'll die one day and you need to know where you're going". Quite literally the first time I talked to him he sprung his religious bs on me, saying "Some people call themselves Christian but say they only believe in part of the bible, and that's not the way I see it (my name), you either believe every last word of it or you don't believe in it at all, and that's me I believe every single word of it". I shit you not that was the first conversation I ever had with the dude. He'd piss off a lot of us cause when we're in our break room he always wants to talk about the bible, and he'll always turn to radio to one of those religious stations so he can hear the gospel. My friends uncle is a Cardinal so his family gets pretty religious. I'm fine with people having a religion, it's what they want to do. I only ever get bothered when people bring me or my soul into it. It's like don't worry about my soul. His family after 23 years of knowing them have gotten pretty chill over that though. My one friend from HS though was a born again christian. All 7 years that I knew him in school fucker was never religious. Now he's the type of person that will spam bible quotes on facebook, and claim that every good thing that has ever happened in life is because of god, and only through god can you be blessed. I'm not going to say this to him, but motherfucker your dad's brain has gone to mush and he's in a wheelchair. The guys younger than my dad and looks old enough to be his grandfather. Did you or him just not pray hard enough or what? Again I'm not going to say that; but I sure do think it. If a soul is a thing more likely than not it's not going to have your memories or personality. It'll probably keep political views but those just seem to be hardwired in there and nothing can change them. Pretty much just a formless shape devoid of thought basking in the light of god in a void of nothingness. That or it's like the cartoons where you get wings and a halo and everyone is just chill with each other because that clearly works on earth. resurrected
Sounds like a lot of people have religious opinions, but didn't take the time to actually learn about the religion they want to denounce. As someone who has studied theology, my advice is, learn more about the subject you are supporting or denying. I don't care what religion you support, but once you take shots at a religion, it's fair game for me to call yours stupid. Also, Goliath was not 6'1'' tall. He was 9 and half feet tall. 6 cubits and a span. A cubit is the length fro your elbow to the tip of your middle finger. Around 18 inches. A span is the span of your hand, which is about 9 inches. Like I said, educate yourself more. It is imperative.
resurrected
Far as Judaism and Christianity goes, Christians had nothing to do with the writings of the books of the Bible. Christianity as a religion, didn't happen until many many years after the death of Christ. Jews do not accept Jesus as their savior. That is a Christian thing. Hence the name, CHRISTian. Majority of the Old Testament's stories are regarding the creation of earth, and life, the suffering and bondage of the Jews who were enslaved by the Egyptians, the great flood and Noah, Moses's journey to lead the people of Egypt out of bondage, the parting of the Red Sea by Moses and the story of the Ten Commandments. Which was ideally brought upon because of the dissension among the people who grew impatient and built a calf made of gold, to worship. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image. The books of Moses (five of them) are the Torah. This is what the Jews follow. Christians believe Jesus is the savior and that one cannot enter the kingdom of Heaven without first accepting Jesus Christ as their savior. Quite simple. You just have to be willing to read it and I'd recommend getting a concordance to go along with the Bible to help you better understand what you are reading, as King James's English can be a bit hard to interpret. A Living Bible might be the easier choice, but I'd still recommend a concordance companion.
