Not for the state. I got picked up at the airport and I haven't left his apartment at all. He just keeps bringing me food, cigarettes, and weed. I'm in a building that happens to be in Iowa thats about it

I'm a Toys 'R' Us kid.

😁

Has this bit worn thin yet? I thought of that when I first saw this thread yesterday but didn't post it because I don't want to be a one trick pony, but then that comment to nameraka...

Maybe when you were kids, but when I was a kid prior to becoming Toys R Us, it was called "Children's Bargain Town USA".  Pic is just after they started the name change.

It would have to be 1948-1958 since in 1958 they changed the name to toys r us . If he is old enough to actually remember going there I'd say at least 68 years old possibly early 70s.

They came back as a kind of small activity park from what I can gather. Kids play with toy demos then can buy them. I believe that the motive is more complex than that as play testing toys before you buy them doesn't feel like it would do anything to fix sales. I believe that they are recording how kids play with toys and selling that data to toy companies. Recording and selling data like that a big business in itself.

are they Lincoln town cars? So some times in the 80s. Did they just not want to change their sign? The company rebranded like 22 years before 1980.
