My mom makes lasagna that everyone but me loves.

I'm part Italian but really the only Italian food I like is pizza. :|

all lasagna is not created equal....I stopped eating other people's lasagna or ordering it in restaurants.....I just wait for the real thing every year

I don't know if I've had pecan pie.

Hell, I would welcome my face being shoved in one, at least I'd get to try it. xD

The filling is kind of a creamy sticky sweet concoction of sugar, butter and eggs, and you lay pecan halves all over the top until it's covered. It's so unhealthy but it's like ambrosia.

It's truly one of the pinnacles of southern cooking.

1 - It depends on the cook & how it was prepared.  The best turkey I ever had was a deep fried one.  I love stuffing, but most people make it with onions so I can't have it.  I've also had a great prime rib my late aunt made one year.

2 - Bananas Foster - same cousin (who had taken cooking courses) made this for dessert.  It was fantastic.

3 - What?  No hors d'oeuvres?

That is not how pecan pie is made at all.

I voted 'Other' for dressing. We only make it a few times a year, and it's really nice during this time of year. Also cast my vote for cheesecake over those pies because I want one, but I'm too tired to bake it today. After making all the other stuff, we usually crap out by dessert time and just grab a Marie Callender's pie from the store.

Spoiler

Fuck your nasty pumpkin, sweet potato, and pecan abominations.
