i absolutely hate it. it's going to probably be the number one factor why i don't stay there for more than maybe a year so it doesn't look like i flaked out.

We get Thursday and Friday off, too. I also had a few odd hours of PTO left to use, so I’m leaving early on Wednesday. It will be a nice, much needed break!

Thanksgiving is a holiday for us and I took Friday as a personal day. Last year I couldn't take vacation yet at Thanksgiving but I "worked from home" by which I mean I brought my work bag to my parents house and looked at my phone like once to confirm that no one had tried to call me. 

My work is flexible enough that as long as we get our productive hours in they don't really seem to care when we work.

I have a pretty full day planned Wednesday but if anyone cancels I already know I'm not even gonna bother filling those spots lol. I actually hope it stays a busy day so I can be productive

I need to stay busy this week I had a huge gap in the middle of the day today and just went out and bought shit I don't need just because I was bored I can't keep doing that lol

If my company didn't have a stupid productivity policy that says we have to meet the same standard regardless of whether we took all our PTO or none of it I probably would have taken the whole day Wednesday off

I wish I could just cancel on everyone tomorrow and not even work but I need to keep my productivity up ughhh

 

I think I'd still be at like 48% for the month if I did that but I had a slow start to the year because vacation and need to get my yearly average up so I'd like to at least hit the minimum of 52%, especially since December is gonna suck since I'm off for a whole week

So yeah if I don't work at all tomorrow I'll be at like 47%, if I bust my ass the highest I think I can get my monthly average to is like 51%. So basically I don't really give a shit might see 3/4 people I have scheduled tomorrow then cancel the last one maybe

Yeah it's one of the things making me consider that I'm not going to be there too long. The people are nice but the processes are dumb
