Most of the civilizations that have or ever will exist in any of these galaxies have come to pass. Maybe we’re in some kind of magical Goldilocks time zone where we can explore our galaxy without putting up with anyone else, we’ll just get to rummage through the bones of alien societies for free shit. You don't know what future eons have in store for celestial bodies crashing into each other creating new planets with satellites around whatever stars.
