Tried to buy computers..... 20.... Computers.

Really?

I figured I would get a ton of points for it tho, then dispute.... Meh.

Anyways, American Express does a good job.

2 Amex cards compromised - they were all over it!  They don't screw around.

One time my brother found a fraudulent charge on his credit card from Guitar Center and asked if it was me. He was concerned it might have been because I used his computer once, I had an education in IT, and that I play guitar. I would never do that to anyone, let alone my own brother. I told him no, but he still thought it was probably me. That really hurt. He did some digging and found out the guitar had been shipped to an address in a completely different state, so that was proof enough to him that it wasn't me. He then apologized for accusing me.

Another time I was sleeping and my dad woke me up all urgently and said he just stopped a $400 something charge from Amazon going through because my credit card (under my dad's account) had been compromised. I was like "no, that was me, I just ordered my text books for the upcoming semester. Didn't I tell you?" I thought I told him I ordered them but he said I didn't tell him. Oh well.

I read my charges every day for each card in their customer portals.

Never saw a charge I didn't initiate.

If I do, I will end up making a lot of phone calls until it's made right.

haha they erased me posting a fake card number LMAO

guess only white rich guys can do that!

Since you want to air this in public, I dealt with it because it's one thing for someone to post in the thread that they made about a jacked card their fake card info. It's another thing for someone else to randomly pop in and post info if that person has their own issues with posting credit card info. I made it go away but not the one who posted it.

It has nothing to do with the color of anyone's frickin' skin or if they carry more ones than twenties in their wallet. Y'all are little white letters on a whole lot of black background to me and little letters don't have wallets.

My limit has not been that low for fifteen years.  I ditched my starter card eighteen years ago.

Nice try Agent Carruthers....We all know Danny was picked up on child pornography charges and you're snooping around for leads.  That's almost what he would have said, but you forgot to add "you should ask the credit professionals that handle my accounts"

Rookie mistake, n00bjuice.

And a sternly worded letter for good measure.

If find this offensive. I'm a balloon, not little white letters on a black background! D:
