Color me interested now.  When I first heard about this I heard they were getting rid of the songs, and the initial teaser trailer was really underwhelming.  But this trailer hits the right chords with me.

Honestly, Will Smith's Genie was the only part that impressed me about the new trailer. It still has the same issue as Beauty & the Beast in having the whole thing feel artificial, like a story that's happening on a cheap movie set or a stage rather than a living breathing world.

Yeah it looks better then those teases they were putting  out. Still unless one of my lady friends wants to go watch it I'll wait untill and digital release

Blue Will Smith still looks silly to me, and wish Jafar was a bit more intimidating. But overall looks alright.

I was going to make a twitter joke last night about gilbert gottfried being replaced by alan tudyk, but gilbert gottfried had apparently spent the day retweeting angry fans mad he didn't get the james earl jones treatment.

The problem is in the saturation of the color, imo. they should have made it a bit desaturated, it makes him look like a plastic action figure.

Like all the other Disney live action stuff... I'm on the fence and likely will be until I see it with my own eyes. I do like that they have embraced the musical aspect of these films and I imagine that much like the BatB film that they're going to be padding out this film with the Broadway original numbers.
