So, you you prefer your mashed potatoes smashed and a bit chunky or mashed and smooth?

 

I like em to be a little chunky and filled with garlic.

you take those red mashed, and use sour cream in lieu of cream. add that fresh bacon. some chives , and a dash of cheese, 

for when you want an actual big ass baked potato, but only have the small ones. ;)

I prefer chunkier smashed potatoes that are mixed with some butter, garlic, and rosemary. I was never into the pureed smooth variant cause it always felt like people overdid the yogurt or sour cream they put into it, and turn it into paste.
