It's easily my favorite place. I'm sure I'll die there at some point.

except late july and august. your skin melts off your body because of the 'dog days'  and what area of GA do you miss?

no. it's not that completely. the city itself is beautiful. but it cares nothing about it's residents.

the people that make the tourists stay more enjoyable.

the corruption in that town is...shameful.

It's not the ONLY city there with that problem, either.

i have several friends from GA and they all seem to feel the same way about it.

having lived in florida and NC, i've spent a fair amount of time there and i have to say that whatever they're seeing, i don't see it.

but to each their own.

(except for savannah, which i'll admit, is a cool town)

I was in that big airport in Atlanta once.

Couldn't tell you anything else about Georgia except for that big ass airport. Damn that was a big airport.

The airport is gigantic. I've been there before. It's like a city

The drive there is rough, but there's things about Savannah I remember fondly, like this one coffee shop by the farmers market and some nice restaurants

I've actually never been to Savanah. I've always wanted to go tho

I've heard the same from other people. But honestly it's home to me. I'm from Alabama originally but I still like Georgia better lol

oh. i miss the change of seasons. i'm a transplant yankee. :)

Another thing that I miss is sweet tea. Almost no restaurants here have sweet tea and when I ask for it they look at me like I'm crazy or something.

ATL is the new Motown. Well that and a place where anime TV co-productions get paid for (Williams Street, Toonami, CN)

Nyanko Chan learned her skills there. Pooooop.

And inbred cannibals

I'm not talking about a remote log cabin in the mountains. We rented a log cabin last November. It was so pretty and relaxing

I've never actually spent time in Atlanta besides being in the bus station once

I think I'd say it's kind of like Orlando Tampa, and Miami, the big Florida cities, but blacker. FL and GA hey are neighoboring states after all, so it's natural there's some spill over in the road Dept..

If you think FLORIDA's black, try Georgia.
