its was a good friend and im thinking about replacing the item i stole from him when we were kids.

do you think its weird that i still feel guilty and want to replace it?

i think he deserves my honest attempt and making it right.

its a copy of toe jam and earl from sega genesis, and i would probably have to buy him the console too.

too weird?

go for it.

i felt like somehow he proved indefinitely that we werent friends, so when i stole it i felt that it was revenge for having trusted him

then i even waited to see if he would calm down and ask for it back, but he just decided to put me out as a thief so i went with that and never returned it.

all these years later and all of a sudden i feel bad.

If We were to "steal" something, it would be because We have determined that it rightly belongs to Us, and so are really just collecting Our property. As such We find it hard to imagine We would feel any regret, let alone a reversal of who the true owner ought to be. That being said, We have not claimed an object in such a manner for a very, very long time.

On the other hand, if We were to discover that We were inadvertently in possession of another's property We would want to return it as soon as feasible.

It wouldn't make sense to do this. I remember keeping a Blockbuster copy of All Star Baseball 2001 on the N64 without them saying anything to us once I decided to keep it. Now they're gone, and my copy of the game is lost, so they wouldn't need this game anymore.

yeah thats where im at now.

fuck it.

well stated.  thats almost exactly how i feel.

i knew he was waiting to see how long i would keep it away from him, waiting to see if he was going to call me a thief, and that made me feel like he didnt trust me.

so i just fucking kept it because i felt like he was calling me a thief.  a friend shouldnt call you a thief, so i felt rightfully that i owned it as repayment for the broken friendship.

i guess i was a little psychotic
