Scalding hot at first to melt the stink and scald it off.  Then once everything is done I bring it down to cold slowly.  Back when I lived with my sister this was required because she didn't believe in having her AC set below 88 during the summer.

We usually keep the house reasonable cool, and I hate cold showers, so I tend to go for really hot showers. If I was just working outside however, I go for lukewarm showers.

 

Cold showers are always absolutely out of the question.
