That's because you're sane and not a total dick. But I'm a member of a forum where a certain...special individual once went back and edited blank every single post he'd ever made, including some that were almost a decade old. It rendered a shitload of conversations almost unreadable in a heartbeat. I don't think that forum ever allowed for individuals to delete posts, but that incident led to it implementing a hard time limit on being able to edit one's posts, which is essentially an equivalent. I could easily see some of our lovely userbase pulling a similar stunt at some point.

The Hunter Exam was a lot more than that single final tournament. The badge-collecting on the island was a much better version of Naruto's scroll thing, for one.

The Chunin Exams were a direct ripoff of the Hunter Exam. Just like pretty much everything else in early Naruto was a direct ripoff of HxH.

I mean that most recent episode with Mirio was shounen at its absolute best. Dire stakes, big emotions, heartfelt heroic speeches, frenetic action, just fantastic stuff.

I don't watch the show but have seen clips of the relevant bits, and yeah it's...kind of straight-up porn at this point. I'm sure FUNi expected a raunchy show but not nearly at this level.
