No that was my reaction to the end of season 3.

I didn't watch enough new anime to make a top 10 so here's a top 3 in no order: 1. Devilman Crybaby. Lured me in with a dick the size of my arm and then fucked me right in the soul. It hurts to smile. 2. Jojo Part 5: Vento Aureo. Just pure fun. I love the main group, the stands are cool, and the music is great. 3. My Hero Academia season 3. I haven't genuinely enjoyed a shounen this much since before Toei threw the pacing for OP down the toilet. All Might's fight was phenomenal, the characters continue to be an absolute delight to watch, and we end the season with someone who promises to be a worthy substitute for my love. The wait for season 4 is gonna be brutal.

No it won't. Assuming they run marathons for Memorial Day and July 4th, season 3 will end on the last week of August. Even if it starts up at the beginning of October, that's still a solid month at least without the show premiering. Even if they do an early Labor Day marathon at the end of August to push it into September, that still brings them at least a month short.

I have doubts that Jojo 5 will be ready next year, considering how long it took to get part 4 licensed. MHA season 4's been announced for October, while season 3 should wrap up on the block somewhere in July or August depending on marathons. They'll probably either rerun the last couple episodes of 3 to keep it fresh in people's minds while they wait for 4, or just shove an FLCL rerun in there to fill time until it's ready.
