Whatever happened to "Mex"? Did she change names or wander off & get married or find a winning lotto ticket or somethin'? -
How long has AT&T been partnered with Direc Tv?

I needed a new DTV box as the old one was dead. Either I entered the wrong service request online form, or they bollocksed it at corporate, because they sent someone to fix my internet with a new modem/router. The tech was very apologetic and called support to bring out the right tech. He was nice enough to rewire the outside the house connection for internet & put in a new connector inside while we waited for the DTV tech to arrive. The internet tech & the DTV tech worked on the satellite box & were talking. The gist I got was that when ATT took over DTV, they reduced DTV's staff including the Techs that knew DTV in & out ("hey, it's all wires, how hard could it be...?"). They brought back some of the DTV techs when they realized they were in over their heads, but apparently not nearly enough. -
Hmmm. I could probably think of dozens, but the 2nd of the Jack in the Box "Angus" burger commercial (where they're all laughing at the meeting) is probably one of the top ones. I like the Allstate "Mayhem" series and lately the Progressive ones (Agent "Jamie" is not as pathetic in his home life as he is at work, and the "Children of the Corn" parody). Quite a few old ones - Miller Lite (Tastes Great/Less Filling series) with the retired sport stars & Rodney Dangerfield, Peter Pan Peanut Butter with Alan Sues of Laugh-In & a Pop-Tarts commercial with this expressionless little girl flatly saying, "How 'bout a hug?" (supposedly mimicking parents talking to kids - might have been late 70's/early 80's).

That means anyone under 30!

Available online (they're owned by Utz chips now). If you have Albertsons/Safeway/Jewel grocery stores, they might have them. Jewel by me picked them up, along with Utz chips.

I keep getting told that my walls are too bare and to "hang art on it"

Who the heck is Art & what do these people have against him? -
"Lemme just run this by you. We'll do a remake of 'Two Mules for Sister Sara', but change her to a Viking! Now all we need is someone to play Clint's part."

No, his daddy is "The Waiter".

Eh, had that stuff since I was little. Never bugged me too much, but a few time lately they've lasted beyond the usual 40 minutes and I've ended up with a very strong headache afterward. A friend of mine always complained of getting "migraines" that would make him call in to work. I showed him this website in order to explain what I experienced & he said, "That's what I get!". Apparently some are either less able to handle them or they get stronger versions. https://www.allaboutvision.com/conditions/ocular-migraine.htm BTW - my former eye doctor got them too. She said there was no known cure & not much you could do but ride it out & take a pain reliever. There's also an FB group for "Ocular Migraines".

Hope they don't switch to a "faster" way of making the pizzas. There was a place in Bradley, IL that had great pizza & was always packed. They changed from a real oven to this thing they put the za in one end & it came out the other cooked (conveyor belt thing). To do that they had to change the way the crust was made & to a different cheese mix so it would cook within the time it was in the contraption. It sucked & they ended up selling the business.

Depends where I am & what type I want. Chicago: thin crust - Dagostino's, deep dish - Bacino's At home - Nancy's (rustic crust) Central IL - Monical's

shirts - landsend.com - got some corporate logo'd shirts from them once at work, very comfortable, fit well & held up for a few years. Now they're my go to for shirts. levi's - sears.com (unless Levi's were mislabled at the factory, the sizes are always true). shoes - famous footwear or sears, in-store. Size has to be right, that's why in-store.

Get yourself one of them thar "boom boxes" with a cassette recorder & a cigarette lighter plug for the car. Then find a station that takes requests & record the songs right off the radio...like we did back in th' day...

Mine at least will spot "bad bugs" and much like Max Von Sydow's Ming the Merciless, "play with things awhile, before annihilation".

Not enough loose french fries in Pod 6 to make that happen.
