Monarch Butterflies released - 2 "Js" - 1 Chrysalis - 1 Caterpillars (currently munching away) - 6 Failed Chrysalis - 1 Been feeding these caterpillars for awhile. I think 2 are about to begin climbing and go "J". Man, do these little guys (ahem) "frass".

The reason is that pretty much all of them were built on the very fringe of their towns. As the towns got bigger, the property values grew & the land became worth more than they could ever make showing movies. "American Pickers" had one that they went to in central Illinois, Gibson City, I think. Some family was restoring it.
