  1. "May I please speak to your manager?"
  2. Hasn't his mother suffered enough?
  3. No. As long as there are sandwiches, there will be mayo.
  4. Years of therapy and heavy doses of psychotropics might help, but I rather doubt it. Cryogenics might be the way to go; if your friend is frozen for a few hundred years, they may be able to help him when he's thawed. Or not, but at least then he wouldn't be wasting valuable oxygen in the mean time.
  5. I'm pretty sure it's not mine.
  6. If your boogers look like Nerds or Fruity Pebbles, you've got a problem.
  7. Can't be that hard, and if it is, he can always go back to his old account.
  8. Don't tell him that. Now he's going to beg for admin status.
  9. I'm not sure, but I think it may be post-related. 500 earns you the key to the dumpster; maybe you get permission to change your rank then, too.
  10. You need a therapist, not a message board.
  11. Your friend is a real beta pussy.
  12. Your friend is wanted by absolutely no one, and the only April fool around here is your friend
  13. As long as it's his living room and not his mother's, that's his issue. Here's hoping he breaks something he's really fond of. And if it's his mother's, I hope she finally boots his sorry ass out.
  14. I'll throw you the cookie. I hate those, too. I can never get them in a position where my glasses aren't getting fogged up.
  15. What kind are they giving you? (Also, you have a cute and friendly face. Now come here so I can pinch your cheek and give you a cookie.)
  16. Also, 27. The Sixth Sense
  17. 60. Life of Pi 36. The Devil Wears Prada (?)
  18. I thought we had to find a volcano.
  19. I got my kids out of high school. I'm dealing with the grandkids, because dad is working from home and mom is an essential retail person. It's harder than dealing with my kids; somehow, the wrath of Grandma is not as effective a threat as the wrath of Mom or Dad.
  20. Aldi's, week before last.
  21. Made sourdough starter Monday, first loaf today. Kind of dense, not fermented enough yet, but it's promising. (I started making bread instead of buying it last week.) The school sent home a suggested schedule for the kids. I'm failing miserably, and Dexter and DeeDee will probably have to repeat their respective grades thanks to me.
  22. It's possible. Some people just have mild symptoms (mild being a relative term, of course), and some are infected but remain asymptomatic. However, it could have also been the flu or a flu-like viral syndrome; the presentation in less severe cases sounds similar.
