naruto Naruto Shippuden Episode #364 (1703) Discussion
PokeNirvash replied to OwlChemist81's topic in Episode Discussion Archive
Can't say I wasn't expecting Neji to die this episode. Mostly because of my natural curiosity towards spoilers and the Eugenecist Hiashi memes. The reveal of how Shikamaru and Ino's dads (and to a lesser extent the Raikage's secretary) died despite being hundreds of miles away, on the other hand, was a true shock to the system. -
what could toonami be like In January?

Hopefully it's one where the user Doomchad on the Toonami Reddit shuts the fuck up. -

If they don't use "Now You Feel Like Number One" in the trailer, I'm gonna riot. -

Trunks Thread 19.1: A New New Frontier

If it makes you feel any better, even Food Wars fanatics hate season 5, so it's not like pretending it doesn't exist isn't an option. -
PRIMARY THOUGHT: I'd have preferred it if the cameraman was either neutral or sympathetic towards Replicants and just got caught up in this whole "doll-hunting" mess. Making him just as Replicant-phobic as the hunters he was documenting was way too on the nose. That being said, Elle killing him was cathartic. Predictably cathartic, but still cathartic.

Four double ups! Ah, ah... Seriously though, why are we doing this beyond the reasons which Demarco already spelled out? 12:00 - Blade Runner: Black Lotus #4 - The Doll Hunt - TV-14LV 12:30 - Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon #20 - The Hidden Village for Half-Demons - TV-14V 1:00 - Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon #21 - Secret of the Rainbow Pearls - TV-14LV 1:30 - Food Wars! The Fourth Plate #12 - The Totsuki Ten Reborn - TV-MAS 2:00 - Naruto Shippuden #364 - The Ties That Bind - TV-PGV 2:30 - Fena: Pirate Princess #4 - The Mystery of the Stone - TV-PGDLV 3:00 - Dr Stone: Stone Wars #10 - Humanity's Strongest Tag Team - TV-14V 3:30 - Dragon Ball Super #34 - Piccolo vs. Frost: Stake it All on the Special Beam Cannon! - TV-14 -
Burton Batman 1 in 2005, Raimi Spider-Man 1 in 2007. This is the first time Toonami's aired a big live-action film since those two, and [as]'s first outright, as their only two live-action movies until now have been The Room and Black Dynamite.

I'll be here for Black Out 2022 but won't comment live - may provide post-airing thoughts - and I'll DVR 2049 to watch some other time, probably a day where I actually have four hours of time to kill doing something besides listening to anime music on YouTube and hornyposting in a Microsoft Word file.

Betcha weren't expecting this. 11:00 - Blade Runner: Black Out 2022 - TV-14LSV 11:15 - Blade Runner 2049 - TV-MALSV 3:00 - Blade Runner: Black Lotus #1 - City of Angels - TV-14LV 3:30 - Blade Runner: Black Lotus #2 - All We Are Not - TV-14LV 4:00 - Blade Runner: Black Lotus #3 - The Human Condition - TV-14LV -
Nice indeed, it's always good to have a little Jam-Orbital appreciation around these parts. Whether it's his earlier, tamer stuff or his newer, weirder stuff. An additional fun fact, an edited video clip someone did of Binbougami's first episode was what inspired me to move from content rating screencaps to content rating clips. Yours and theirs were pretty close to one another, just one subrating's difference! Godzilla: Singular Point #5: Theorist (TV-PG) The Legend of Black Heaven #10: Ten Years Ago (TV-14L) Kanon 2006 #15: Sonatina of Hide-and-Go-Seek (TV-PGLV) Kanon 2006 #16: Midnight Oratorio (TV-PG) Kisarazu Cat's Eye #1: Phantom Thief Corps Visit! (TV-14DLV) Kisarazu Cat's Eye #2: Chaca Recapture Operation (TV-14DLSV) Full Dive #4: The Only One to Beat the Game (TV-MAL) Magic Knight Rayearth #10: Revival of Selece, the Legendary Rune-God (TV-PG) Platinum End #2: Hero of Justice (TV-14LSV) And Yet the Town Moves #6: Pandora Maid Service (TV-14D) Irina: The Vampire Cosmonaut #6: Nosferatu (TV-14L) Irina: The Vampire Cosmonaut #7: Lycoris Cooking Show (TV-PG) Irina: The Vampire Cosmonaut #8: A Maiden's Prayer (TV-PG) I think I might do a content rating rundown of Kinky Kunoichi S1 next month to celebrate the third anniversary of the hypothetical anime's conclusion. Unless that'd be too weird for even this thread.

Blade Runner: Black Lotus gets a marathon on December 4
PokeNirvash replied to Blatch's topic in Toonami & [adult swim]
I would not be surprised if Demarco got all the hatemail at this point. Some of these things are likely out of his control, but he needs to know that we're tired of his "personal MyAnimeList, my shows are better than theirs" attitude towards the block. I'd have also thrown in "anti-ecchi", but between Food Wars and Cartoonito, that'd be too inaccurate for even my hyperbole. -
Everything about the "Kibou no Uta" sequence was surprisingly hype for the state the show led itself to, but my favorite part most people probably didn't notice was Urara, after having gone from Central cocksucker to her usual self with a slightly antagonistic costume change, defaulting to factory settings at the very end.

Episode 18 - Konton's demise was anticlimactic as fuck, I'm sorry. On the other hand, Sesshomaru showing up for three minutes was extremely interesting, and his silence on the matter of his own kids really leaves his motivations regarding them one of the most interesting parts of the show. Episode 19 - This was the other episode James Beckett trashed that I cared enough to read up on, and while I understand his frustrations, I can't help but feel he was acting like his expectations were way too high for a show he didn't see, nor ever cares to see, the prequel of. Is it not in-character for a stereotypical ojou-sama to seek vengeance against someone for a slightly ruined kimono? It's like he's never experienced an ojou-sama character in his life, or at least thinks it way too beneath him to enjoy even in the slightest. That said, I'm liking Setsuna and her wet blanket attitude more with each episode, and if Hisui and his sidekicks knew what Kohaku's life was like before the present day, their hopes of giving him a better life than what they got now would seem as foolish to them as they do to us. Hey, everyone. Woke up too early this morning and drank alcohol (chardonnay, to be exact) too late this evening, so I'm gonna call off tonight and watch stuff tomorrow. Sorry I can't offer up my thoughts in real time, but in my current state, I don't think the double Yashahime is worth it. At least, not this week. Take care, and I hope you enjoy the shows, or at least the commentary they produce, in my stead.
