    In retrospect, this episode feels way more consistent with the original canon than the alternate take on episode 3 they did several years ago during the first "flashback filler" arc.

    Sitting here in my apartment that I've had for three weeks now, I've realized that some things stay the same regardless of whether you're a child or an adult. And in my case, that's staying up past my bedtime to watch Naruto.

    Yeah, they were easily huge disappointments. Between all of Team 7's parents, I think Naruto's are the best, we just didn't get to see them parent much since they died way too early.

    Meanwhile, I catalogue more anime-related things than I should, so of course I retained the fact that Moroha and Rindo share the same English VA.

    I think that final decision fits, Erina's beef against Azami and Central has a personal edge that Soma's just doesn't. I hope I'm able to get that alligator jerky I bought at Oktoberfest two months ago back from my parents' house before next week's episode. I was hoping to eat that during a Rindo-centric episode, and since it didn't work for this week, it'll have to work for next.
