I personally enjoyed it, and it manages to wrap as much things up as they can to general success. I think you'd like it, though it's a little open-ended and the OVA that serves as the final numerical episode is a flashback that doesn't provide much follow-up.

The DVD order was how they aired it the first two times in 2004 too. Also interesting, each short got its own content rating (TV-14V for Osiris, Second Renaissance, and Program; TV-14 for Kid's Story, Detective Story, Beyond and Matriculated; and TV-PGV for World Record) and, at least for the October rerun, there was no commercial break between the two halves of Second Renaissance. Not sure why they jumbled it up here, but Osiris airing at the end is a creative touch, since it directly leads into the events of the Matrix Reloaded.

I had a dream last night where the only thing I remembered upon waking up was Toonami airing EX-ARM as a stealth premiere. At the point we're at now, I would welcome even that over "lolidk just watch and find out!"

We have reached the end of another year, and as per normal (as it has somehow become), it's time for me to list all the individual episodes of things I watched and gave ratings to this year. Cosmo Samurai sort of counts, but wasn't included because I had no clue how to include it: as four mini-episodes or one overall episode. Rewatches of things that were out of fun and not without some sort of purpose not included. Overall, 489 individual episodes. I can do better next year, especially since I'll be more acclimated to my new daily routine of working a full 40 hours a week. [monthly]

Ironically, I'm more willing to watch something on Netflix than take the piracy route with it, if only in that I have access to a legit account that, alongside Toonami and home video releases, makes it so I'm not watching anime via dubious means 100%.
