  1. I'll take your derail and use it to attempt to get the thread back on topic.... Of course abortions are bad, pre-marital sex is bad, having children out of wedlock is bad, but masturbating instead of finding yourself in any of those other situations is bad too? What does it take to please these people?
  2. Did you know he was British though?
  3. So something I read on a facebook post prompted me to look up Slash on wikipedia. The post said he was British-American. I never knew that. So I went to his wiki, which said he was born in England and moved to L.A. when he was five. His wiki page led me to another fact I didn't know: He is part black. I thought I heard somewhere he was Jewish, which I thought was the cause for his 'fro and relatively dark complexion, as well as his name being Saul, but his wiki page didn't mention him being Jewish when I skimmed it just now. The reason for his name being Saul was he was named after a Romanian-American cartoonist named Saul Steinberg.
  4. In the hot dog eating contest episode of King of the Hill, Dale did Bill no favors by making him realizing he "should" quit because people were laughing at him... You know who wasn't laughing at him, and genuinely was sexually attracted to the hot dog eating and wanted to sleep with him and only didn't because 1) Bill said let's wait until after the contest and 2) Bill threw in the towel in said contest and quit the contests forever? That groupie. She legit wanted him and liked him for the eating talent. And for Bill, isn't that what was really important? In that other episode where he attempts suicide, was his depression stemming from him having not enough friends, not enough respect from the general public, or was it from not having a woman since his ex-wife left him leaving him with no children?
  5. Hey, remember when the Republicans CHOSE Mitt Romney to oppose Big Bad Obama for his second presidential term in 2012? Remember years later when you called Romney a RINO? Hmmmmm.....
  6. I was for sure on the west coast CN. Aren't you in the central time zone? Do you not get a CN for that time zone?
  7. Well it's 1:00 PM and Teen Titans Go is on. I knew it was a mistake!
  8. I'm not sure but I think they've had more than one episode with the Trump-ish character. I don't recall them all becoming human (except Darwin).
  9. According to my cable guide King of the Hill is on this afternoon at 1:00 and 1:30 PM, in between Craig of the Creek and Gumball. This is some sort of mistake, right?
  10. Happy birthday!
  11. Is it just me, or does Brian May from Queen look more like a classical composer than a rock guitarist?
  12. Happy birthday!
  13. That unfortunately makes sense.
  14. I didn't realize this when the TV show Friends was in its heyday, but I just realized that Ross is incredibly unlikable with next to 0 redeemable qualities. For me the most likable characters are Chandler, Joey, and Phoebe.
  15. I like it quite a bit, it's really different from the usual AS fare, I think. I really wouldn't put it in that "random for the sake of random" category. It brings goofy twists to common tropes. Like the one friend being jealous of the other friends being selected for a competitive team while she wasn't... pretty common trope.... but they make it goofy/weird/different by making it something as stupid as cartwheeling, and going on tour for 40 years which in the real world would be really unappealing to pretty much everybody, but in the show it's seen as this prestigious thing. I don't know, I think it's funny.
  16. For whatever reason the old acronym TCP/IP popped into my head last night, and it really bugged me I couldn't remember what the TC stood for. Had to resort to looking it up.
  17. What got me the most was the husband shouldn't be the one to take off his own shoes.
  18. I always loved how barnacles is the go to expletive in that show.... But pointing out Barnacle Boy's relation to that makes it even funnier.
  19. Generally the right decision.... but they've been getting better. Three Busy Debras is pretty good.
  20. Looks like someone stole their idea. FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A new business in northwest Fresno will give customers a new way to relieve stress. Rage Room is weeks away from opening on Shaw Avenue between Valentine and Marty. It's a space where people can come to break things like TVs or computers as a way to take out anger, relieve stress or just have fun. Rage sessions last 15 minutes. Each person gets ten items to destroy. Guests have to be at least 12 years old to visit. The owners estimate their soft opening will happen at the end of this month. Click Note, the vid at the top does not relate to the actual artcile.
