There must be a cricket somewhere in my apartment. The chirping is way too loud to be coming from outside. It's a good thing I always sleep with the TV on because If I was used to sleeping in silence this would probably drive me nuts.

I've never gotten stoned in my life, and I loved classic AS. But I think there maybe something to the idea that you have to be stoned to COME UP with the stuff AS was doing, not necessarily enjoy it. But I do assume you have to be stoned to enjoy 12 oz. Mouse.

There's a local (at least I think they're local) mariachi band here called Metalachi, and they play mariachi versions of, you guessed it, metal songs. Strangely enough, everyone I've spoken to who's seen them/heard them say they are awesome.

I would have to agree with the consensus that the 2000s were the golden age, and agree with you about AI, which I would pre-emptively call the dark ages of the Internet.... I would argue that currently we are in between the golden age and the dark ages.

I can't imagine working from home. I'm the kind of person that when shows up for work, I want to WORK. But when I am home, fuck doing any work with an iron rod. That's what sucks about going back to school later in adulthood, the fucking homework. In the classroom it's all cool, but when I'm at home and I got that naggin' homework I got to do.... fuck this shit.
