  1. All good advice.
  2. Do computers still do that? I never experienced this with a typewriter, but boy did I ever experience this with computers over the years.
  3. I don't know, I don't know much beyond Gibson. Looking it up on Guitar Center, it does seem to be pretty legit. But it features a whammy bar and locking tuners. On the one hand, you may have a lot of fun with a whammy bar, but locking tuners are a pain, you need to use an alan wrench each time you want to tune the guitar, if I'm not mistaken (I've never owned a guitar with locking tuners, but I believe this is what I've heard from people who have). And tuning a guitar is not like tuning a piano; you need to tune the guitar like every time you pick it up. The point of the locking tuners is to make it so using the whammy bar doesn't throw the guitar way out of tune after every use of the whammy bar. They do make guitars with whammy bars and without locking tuners that are more suitable for beginners.
  4. KO is your brain giving up.
  5. Anyway, is there a Guitar Center in your area? They typically sell most of the "popular" brands, including the expensive stuff. The neat thing though is you can try the guitars without any commitment, you so may be able to figure out what sounds best or feels best to you. As a newb you're probably not going to have any opinions though. Anyway, "prestigious" brands like Gibson and Fender have lower-end more affordable lines of their popular guitars. Squire is cheap Fender, and Epiphone is cheap Gibson. I've actually heard opinions of late that Epiphone is better than Gibson now because Gibson has gone to the shitter as far as quality control goes, and Epiphone has really improved. So, eh. I've seen online that the Epiphone Les Paul Special II is a great beginner guitar for the price.
  6. Buy a cheap guitar and a small, cheap amp to start with. Wait until you know you're going to stick with it before you get visions of the expensive stuff in your head. And buy an electronic guitar tuner!
  7. Well, I wasn't expecting that.
  8. In what universe is pickled pig feet "candy"? Anyway, I remember having to resort to lingerie catalogues and scrambled pay-per-view porn to fap to.
  9. Happy belated, sponges!
  10. TKO ain't giving up, it's being beaten by the rules. KO is giving up.
  11. Not gonna lie, I was waiting for the TKO.
  12. That makes my head hurt. In high school chemistry class I learned that the values of the kilogram, liter, and meter were all based on a box of water.
  13. That's a good comparison. I already mentioned he also looks like Hunter Pence (former SF Giant and Philadelphia Phillie).
  14. Happy belated birthday!
  15. The guy in the hat looks like an elf.
  16. That's a grand ol' typo. After you're done binging, do you purge too?
  17. That is awesome. Zim's eyes look a little off, but it's probably the medium you're using. Otherwise, both Zim and Gir look spot on.
  18. This made me literally facepalm in real life, I hope I am misunderstanding this. Are you watching your 8 year old bathe/shower?
  19. Why the hell do you think Phillies would or even should go into law?
  20. Instead of fighting fire with fire, you're fighting smoke with smoke.
  21. Tide just can't win. Just stick with the old school giant jug, guys. It's the least likely to get you sued.
  22. I don't think one gets ass worms from playing sports in the mud; one gets them from eating rotten food out of dumpsters.
  23. I dunno, if she's hot she's hot. Gotta be at least 18 obviously. I'm not necessarily opposed to a hot 50 year old, either.
  24. Jesus Christ, those clothes. Early 90s fashion, man.
