  1. There must be a cricket somewhere in my apartment. The chirping is way too loud to be coming from outside. It's a good thing I always sleep with the TV on because If I was used to sleeping in silence this would probably drive me nuts.
  2. I've never gotten stoned in my life, and I loved classic AS. But I think there maybe something to the idea that you have to be stoned to COME UP with the stuff AS was doing, not necessarily enjoy it. But I do assume you have to be stoned to enjoy 12 oz. Mouse.
  3. I want to see the after of this.... does he turn into a bottle of milk?
  4. Next time call him right back and when he answers scream into the phone: 'GIVE ME A FUCKING CHANCE TO ANSWER, GOD DAMN."
  5. I would assume if the employees don't hate you you wouldn't have to worry.
  6. Even if you feel you have to worry about management, do you feel the actual workers would try to screw you over?
  7. There's a local (at least I think they're local) mariachi band here called Metalachi, and they play mariachi versions of, you guessed it, metal songs. Strangely enough, everyone I've spoken to who's seen them/heard them say they are awesome.
  8. "to my knowledge"????
  9. I just started rewatching Evangelion and a character remarked it has been 3 years since Shinji and his dad have seen each other…. and I’m like wait a minute… isn’t shinji’s mom dead? And isn’t he like 15? So he’s been taking care of himself since he was fucking 12? Father of the year, right there.
  10. Originally the lyrics were the "in the garden of eden" but it was never recorded that way. When Doug Ingle was in the middle of writing the song, another member of the band came in and asked him what he was working on. Ingle drunk of his ass, meant to say "in the garden of eden" but it came out more like "Inna gadda da vida." The band member he was talking to liked how that sounded and wrote it down, and shared it with Ingle the next day.
  11. I would have to agree with the consensus that the 2000s were the golden age, and agree with you about AI, which I would pre-emptively call the dark ages of the Internet.... I would argue that currently we are in between the golden age and the dark ages.
  12. RIP. Inna Gadda Da Vida is a great album, and the title track in particular is a landmark in heavy rock music.
