For me it depends. Inputing the code in Mega Man X for all the armor upgrades seems like it it would take a lot of the fun out of it. As for walkthroughs I don't have anything against them at all, but I probably wouldn't bother unless I'm just stuck to the point of all the fun being sucked out of it so like, "fuck this I gotta use a walkthrough."
