  1. Well I'm a big fan of the Les Paul Studio so if you think the price is worth it I definitely recommend it. There's cheaper Les Paul's for beginners like the Special II, Jr., 100, one of those was supposed to be real good for a starter guitar, it was either the Jr. or 100, can't remember which. But if price isn't much of a concern, I love the Studio.
  2. Really all I look for are humbucking pickups because they have a warmer tone, and has at least 22 frets, as some guitars only have 21 (while others have 24). Other than that, it's really just about how it sounds.
  3. Well the thing is, if the guitar was made shoddily, it won't be in tune.
  4. Supposedly not. That's the goal of the instrument, anyway.
  5. Professionals and Standards are made to look very fancy and ornate. Studios are meant to look very barebones as to be able to take down the price a bit without having to sacrifice tone, playability, or construction quality. The name Studio comes from it was made to play in the recording studio because it doesn't look fancy but sounds great. Here's a wiki article that goes into a lot of specifics: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gibson_Les_Paul_Studio
  6. I just figured his name would attract a high price.
  7. It also matters which model Les Paul. I'd never go with the top of the line Professional or Standard just because of the expense. I like the Studio, great tone and feel but with a relatively lower price because its not fancy looking. Then there's even lower stuff like the Special II, Jr., and 100.
  8. Sheeeeeit those are probably even more expensive then, lol.
  9. I'm a big Les Paul guy, but they are very expensive. Never heard of BMG so can't comment. Do you already play?
  10. And now you've got me thinking of human Bender.
  11. When he came out I liked Ba-Widda-Ba (however you spell that) because I liked the guitar riffs a lot more than the average rap/rock going on at the time. Never liked any of his other songs though.
  12. Food? What is this, vaudeville? Remember that dude that tried to throw a shoe at GWB? And why am I using so many question marks?
  13. When he equated mice with speedsters I had to.
  14. Angele angele, ariba ariba!
  15. Back in the early 00s I was a newspaper carrier and walking around outside alone at 3:00 - 4:00 am felt pretty great.
  16. I've decided to not even bother with printers anymore. What's even the point if it's going to stop working in two months.
  17. What's on first? Wait.... What is on second, isn't he? I'm so used to just hearing the title I forgot the whole rest of the bit.
  18. The similar interactions were you being irked at me picking apart your jokes. In this instance I wasn't picking apart jack shit I WAS GENUINELY CURIOUS. I didn't ask the question because it didn't make sense to me or it seemed superfluous, I asked because I knew there must've been a key piece of information I was lacking. Oh yeah and I'm surprised because I made a conscience effort to stop picking apart people's jokes long ago, and I thought I had a pretty good streak going, so yeah this is pretty outta nowhere as far as I'm concerned.
  19. It did not occur to me she is where Beavis' hairstyle came from. I'm not psychic. I got the whole "munch" thing, assumed maybe she had a song featuring that word, but I did not put 2 and 2 together with his hair. IS THAT NOT OK????
  20. Jesus Christ, I was just curious. Never heard of/seen Ice Spice in my life.
  21. Which one are we using as the official thread?
  22. Could've been worse, your frantic finger pressing could've caused you to drop your phone into the toilet.
