Ok first of all, Luke was not a Jedi until at least Empire Strikes Back. Stormtroopers were shooting at him in A New Hope when he rescued Laia.

Stormtroopers never killed, despite many opportunities, Luke (before he became a Jedi), Laia (I don't know if she became a Jedi somewhere along the line, but she definitely wasn't in A New Hope), Chewy, or Han.
