Personally, I tend to like the occasional marathon. That way I don't feel too bad if I pass out early. And, I do kind of rely on some marathons - like Labor Day weekend - to ensure that I don't miss any new episodes if I happen to be doing something else that evening. This year I made it back to the hotel in time but other years have been long nights. I don't want to go online to play catch-up. I'm selfish like that.

I can not be quoted on this because nothing is in stone. But, there have been some Metalocalypse merch starting to get official release for the first time in forever. The 'Facebones' boxers are actually kinda funny and entertaining for absolutely no good reason. This started to be worked on months ago and there will be some things at the festival that won't be at a Hot Topic for at least a week after the event itself. As [ as ] is apparently losing Family Guy and Bob's Burgers to FXX [ I will miss Bob's Burgers and am hoping that maybe a Sundays only airing deal can be worked out when the time comes at least ] , they are in serious need of setting things up for the future schedules. They may be starting to approach and repair things with previous creatives but it will be an uphill battle since time doesn't always heal all wounds. So stay tuned, support the artist, and don't be a dildos on twitters about it.

Recently? I had a tin of salmon that was about to expire so I just mixed a little mayo in it and ate that. Got the urps from it. Saddest meal of all time would be back in my college days when I'd have almost nothing to eat on breaks or summer vacation because I really didn't have much money and my meal plans were only good during the school year. It would usually end up being a brick of ramen and some tea for the entire day's worth of meals. Half a brick with extra water and two cups of diluted tea for lunch and the other half with extra water and more diluted tea for supper. No breakfast. I got a loaf of bread once but it started to mold before I got to the end so I just toasted it and scraped the burnt parts off [ mold ] and ate it anyway.

My previous kitty loved 'Pee Wee's Playhouse' - I found that out the hard way when [ as ] aired it late at night and I was working a shift that usually meant I got home at that time. The second that stupid theme song started, she'd tear ass out of the bedroom and power flop on the carpet to watch the tv [ while lying on her back with her belly in the air ] and I would be stuck with that playing in the background. Current kitty will sometimes bitch on Saturday night's if I don't turn on the tv in the bedroom for Toonami even if I'm watching it in the living room. And she is enamored with Toki's voice.
