Your pics as current tend to draw attention to your chin and chin isn't really a great part of most people's faces. It's a chin. And there's only so much you can do for a chin. But you can do things to your eyes and lips to make them the focus of the face and leave the chin to the background. You don't need to line the entire eye, light line across the top should help you to see what is possible while still retaining your more desired natural look.

Do not go with a full strong red, even as a tinted lip gloss, right off the bat. You don't know if it will age you or look tacky. GSH used a bright dust rose on her photo shop, aim for that sort of color and work towards emphasizing your eyes in simple terms instead. And yes, maybe new glasses to help draw that attention up and away from the chin.

Look up a tutorial on 'Swan Neck' for selfies. There's got to be one out there, there are tutorials for everything else on the planet. It helps kill the double-feature chin that appears on poor selfies. Do not go 'Duck Lips' though, it's played out and stupid. Most people look like they've been hit in the face with a sock full of bees. Or bullheads. They have bitch-stingers too and are more than happy to use them. Frickin' Dollar Tree. They have make-up, it's cheap so you aren't out massive amounts while trying things out and it's still functional. Simple eyeliner and some gloss with a hint of tint because you don't know what color works for you otherwise you'd have tried lipstick by now anyway. It'll draw attention to the eyes most, lips slightly second due to the coloring, and away from jawlines and double-features. And bare in mind that all this advice is coming from someone who has only really posted their cleavage because they hate taking pics but do like annoying the bloody hell out of people and who also does do a lot of weird things with make-up for the focusing effects but not necessarily glamour shots.

I got punished for everything and anything. Apparently the idea was if I got the shit beat out of me for the things my siblings did, they wouldn't do those things anymore. Save up and try for Dragon Con. In the future when there are fan tables again because trawling fan tables for free shit is half the fun. Plus, only place for the People's Republic of Venture table. Next year is going to be stupid crazy if the booths are back because everyone is going to have overflow swags from 2+ years of antsy creativity. And Dragon Con because it's both huge as hell but it's not Industry, it's fan. So the only thing keeping you from getting into a particular panel is the room filling up, not because half the seats need to be reserved for some sunglass-wearing pud that's going to talk on their phone the entire time if they even show up.

Welp, it's official. While Dragon Con is still live with mask mandates and audience capping for those attending and streaming channels for those who can't attend physically but still want to enjoy panels, there won't be any fan tables this year. On the plus side, I'll probably have all my holiday shopping done by Friday at that rate since I won't be manning a booth and will be able to check out whatever merchants manage to set up shop in the new spread. On the negative, I have like thousands of swags in my apartment which may end up going into labeled boxes for next year when I was really looking forward to unloading them. Hell, I have a batch of stuff in resin mode in the kitchen right now.

Next year is going to be a big one for the One Ring people at Dragon Con if fan tables are possible again. So much potential hype for the series. The Venture table has been by the One Ring table for years now and they are absolute pips.

It's too hot and too smoky to do much of anything before the life gets zapped right out. I still have about 50 tacks to complete in a design that I've only worked out in my head, a costume that is still missing parts because the store I wanted to check for shoes had a massive employee uprising, some alterations on the parts I do have, and I still need to map out packing all this shit into two bags and making them look like they don't weigh 100 pounds each. I'm usually done by August 1st with all this crap just so I have an entire month of padding for change-of-plans. Just so tired. And when I went to even touch the suitcase, the kitten gave such a look. She's going to poop on the carpet tonight, I just know it.
