My stepdad is like this with my mom when he's drunk. He always pisses and moans about his past, how he grew up in an abusive foster home and shit. If it's not that, he bitches and moans about me transitioning. He once made comments about how he blames himself, that he wishes he taught me more "man things". That shit would NEVER have prevented me from transitioning and living my true self. When he does this, my mom puts her earbuds in and listens to music on her phone.

Why, though? What did Bandai Vi$ual U$A think was going to happen? I never bought anything from them except for the Blu-ray release of Wings of Honneamise, and that was well after they folded. I had previously bought the Manga Entertainment DVD and upgraded last year. I also managed to find a good deal on the Blu-ray disc.

Gunbuster is just NOW getting a dub? Why wasn't it dubbed into English before? I watched it on Veoh ONCE and it was subbed. I see no reason why it shouldn't have gotten a dub before Discotek got their hands on it.

Binge-watching The X-Files with my parrot. Normally, I'd binge-watch nature shows on BBC America but this is something different to watch.

I still went fishing. Fishing is a survival skill.

I've gone fishing before but it's so boring. You cast your line out into the water and have to wait and wait for a bite. When I was a teenager, I would go fishing with my stepdad. He and I caught some sharks at one point and cooked them. Haven't had shark in a long time, though; would love to eat it again.
