What's your favorite story from a video game?
Real_AirCooledGirl replied to Kudasai's topic in Games
Fallout: New Vegas. So many ways to finish the game, DLCs and all. My M.O. is to do the DLCs before the main quest. I steal all the gold at the end of Dead Money, exterminate the White Legs during Honest Hearts, recover my brain but keep the artificial spine and heart while leaving the Think Tank scientists alive during Old World Blues, and nuke both the NCR and Caesar's Legion at the end of Lonesome Road. During the base game, I do all the companion quests. I also upgrade the Securitron Army, leave the Brotherhood of Steel intact, enlist the aid of the Boomers, convince the Great Khans to break things off with the Legion and leave the Mojave, foil the Omertas' plot to gas the Strip, purge the cannibals from the White Glove Society, and exterminate the Powder Gangers. I also like to string the NCR, Caesar, and Mr. House along before throwing them under the bus and installing Yes Man. -
I used to go to B-Dubs to eat wings and play Buzztime trivia. I stopped going to my local B-Dubs a few years ago because it was getting too expensive (even before the guilt tax a.k.a. tip) and it was also a pain in the ass to cross DE Rt. 1 to get there. I didn't give two fucks about sports at all. I was just there for the trivia, like how you have people who only watch the Super Bowl for the commercials and don't care about the actual game. My favorite sauces? Thai Curry and Asian Zing. About a month or so after I had my name legally changed, I bumped into one of my old bar buddies from B-Dubs. He was very surprised to learn that he'd been hanging out with a trans woman the whole time and didn't know it. I told him that I might stop by after updating my ID and debit card, to surprise the shit out of everyone. He also told me that there's been a fair bit of turnover among the staff but some of the ones who were at that location when I frequented it are still there. One waitress/bartender has since become a GM. As the antiboyotics have kicked my spice cravings into overdrive, I might stop by for some Thai Curry wings. Or I might try the new chicken sandwich but ask for the Thai Curry sauce on the side.

In the time leading up to my endocrinologist appointment last year, I thought of stealing huge quantities of estradiol and spironolactone and self-dosing. My appt. was originally scheduled for March but COVID delayed it to July. Even when I did see the good doctor, it was through telehealth instead of in her office. But I did get on the titty skittles and have been on them ever since. My endo moved to another state to be with her husband the following month but not before referring me to the cute GP I'm seeing now.

I used to work in restaurants. If I saw a messy kitchen like in the before pic, I'd break into my broken kitchen Spanish and cuss up a storm. I'd use the kind of cussing that'd make the GOAT, Anthony Bourdain, proud.

I think I have a girl crush on my hormone doctor
Real_AirCooledGirl replied to Real_AirCooledGirl's topic in Free-For-All
I won't lie, I've always found intelligent women very hot. And now that I'm nearly a year into my transition, I've given some thought to dating women as my true self. No longer do I have to wear a guy mask. I sure as hell don't have to wear one for her. Add to that the thrill of breaking a taboo, an interest in tasting some forbidden fruit, and perhaps a bit of a mommy/girl dynamic and it makes her even more desirable. This was all natural and not forced. And after a life of blue-collar work, I wouldn't mind marrying up. Pre-transition, I worked in restaurants save for a stint in a bookstore. Two diners (one a chain; no, it wasn't Denny's) and a bar and grill. I washed dishes, prepped, bussed tables--I did a little bit of everything except serving and managing. In 2017, I was injured in a scooter crash and was on the verge of coming out as trans but thought nobody would believe me because I have Asperger's syndrome on top of it. After collecting a modest settlement for my troubles, I quit my last diner job, then came out to my mom. I also told my primary physician and two nurse practitioners with psych backgrounds. I got a referral to a gender therapist and then a trans-supportive endocrinologist. That endo was supposed to see me last March but COVID delayed it to July. She ordered blood work and prescribed titty skittles. Before moving to another state, she referred me to my current hormone doc. And I've been seeing her ever since. I never planned on falling for her; it just happened naturally. She already knows I'm trans, pre-op, and a lesbian. I last saw her on my birthday and did some nonverbal flirting with my eyes. Maybe she noticed, maybe she didn't; we were both wearing masks and that can only get you so far. And I find myself lost in those pretty eyes of hers. -
I've never had a mod deem anything I say offensive so far. But I'm glad to be home among fellow ASMB'ers here. I miss the old boards but the cuss filter they had.

At the very least, dinner and making out with her. Maybe smoking a bowl, too. Don't know if she smokes weed, though. Probably not. If she does, I bet a girl like her gets her pick of the bud. -
Same here! At least on these new boards, we can cuss all we want and they'll never be censored because "muh standards and practices". Fuck standards and practices.
