I finally went to my favorite BBQ place for the first time in a few years. They didn’t have the ribs I used to always get, so I went with a smoked pork chop instead. These things have always been shoe leather, in my experience, but the one tonight was amazing. My sides were baked beans and fried okra.

I’m so sick of trying (and obviously failing) to understand the absolute cesspool of the internet that is Reddit. It’s the biggest left-wing, anti-Orange Man site I’ve ever been a part of. But the one and only time I decide to add my opinion to one of these topics, and say something negative about The Don, I’m instantly downvoted into oblivion. I know this is something stupid and immature to be complaining about. I’m just more confused than pissed off right now.

I still listen to new music from bands I’ve been a fan of for a while, but I know that’s probably not what you’re talking about. The majority of “new” stuff I discover these days, though, is music that’s been out a little while, but somehow flew under my radar at the time.

Did I really pay $20 for a remastered version of a game, only for them to stick me with the grotesque-looking PS2 version? I’ll still give it a shot, but I know this is just gonna be a trainwreck.

I have a bit of a double complaint tonight, if that’s allowed. I’ll keep them both as brief as I can. 1. I can’t really say when I reached the age where virtually every noise not produced by me, or something I’m actively enjoying doing, manages to grind on my nerves to the point of near insanity, but I know I hate this about myself. 2. Did Burger King just forget to give me a straw for my drink tonight, or was this just another “annoy The_annoying_one” thing?

Looks like maybe BK tonight. I’ve been planning for the past week to have bbq tonight, but the only bbq place around here I like decided to close early today, just to piss me off. EDIT: Of course BK is gonna make wait in the parking lot for an hour, even though I ordered the food online. I should’ve just gone home and made a sandwich.

Bumping this because I can. I’ve been living without gas in my house for about a week now because of some unknown problem. I still don’t know what the problem was, but they finally managed to fix it just now. I’ll be so glad to take a hot shower again, just as soon as the water heater does its thing.

Oh good. I spent probably half an hour searching Tubi for a movie to watch, and finally settled on some slasher centered on…social media influencers… I’ll just keep it on as background noise while I play around on my phone. That’s what I do most nights, anyway. 🤷‍♂️

This again, plus a little bag of chips.

I’ve been in my head a lot worse than usual lately and I absolutely hate it. I need a distraction, but I can’t even concentrate on anything right now.
