My answer might come off as cold and extremely blunt, but people love to show off. What better way to show off their companionship with a human being than having an extravagant wedding?

sports FOOTBALL 2019: SMACK TALK & SHIT POSTING
Gyaos replied to 1pooh4u's topic in General Discussion
I understand that the Panthers have offensive line problems and don't have Cam Newton. CHRIST, I just want to forget this season. Kyle Allen is sub-par as a second string QB and Will Grier is softer than baby shit. He got injured in his second NFL game. I hope they make wise choices in the next draft, because I don't see next season being any better. -
Get out of the shitty apartment I'm currently in and rent an actual house.

Yes, divorce celebrations are a thing. One of the bars near my apartment seems to have one or two every year.

You know what form of transit is underrated? The train.
Gyaos replied to GuyBeardmane's topic in Free-For-All
I took a train from Charleston (WV) to Columbus, Ohio when I was a kid for a school field trip. I remember the ride being a drag. I looked it up, and by Amtrack, it takes 4 and a half hours. The trip would have been much faster by car or bus. That's an important thing to note. A lot of trains go at slower speeds and through routes that make the trip to the destination much longer than they need to be. This is why train travel is underrated. -
I don't like subs, so none of the above. I'd rather just eat a burger.

I have a friend with a peanut allergy who could die if exposed to so much as peanut dust. She's had seizures before because of it. I only get sick if I eat poultry. I have to see things in a positive light. I can live without eating animals that have feathers. I love beef and pork anyway.
-
I agree with the part about them tasting like chicken. It's the closest substitute I have to actual chicken meat, as I am allergic to poultry.

When I get the chance, I love to eat beef heart. If you've never had it, I wholly recommend it especially when grilled or stewed. Another thing I love is frog legs, but I consider that a treat that I wouldn't eat very often. It's like steak--it's nice to have once in a while, and I don't want to spoil myself on it.

Say something nice about another UEMB'er.

@Gojira Claus has a good taste in movies judging by his avatar. DAIKAIJU EIGA FOR LIFE! @stilgar exposed me to Demon Slayer with their current signature that they've probably had for more than a year. Thus they also have good taste. It's a damn good anime. Have yet to read the manga. @Sir Teddybar Gut Fullung is a genuinely good human being for making us say nice things to each other. I would also tag a certain person everyone knows because they make me feel more intelligent when I beat myself down just by reading their posts, but doing so would probably throw this thread into the shitter and ruin it. So I won't. -
Got a few gifts. Mostly received Christmas cards, though, which I'm beginning to value a lot more than other things. I sound like I'm in my fucking 50's when I'm only just about to enter my 30's.

Anybody remember "Bump in the night?"
Gyaos replied to SwimModSponges's topic in Movies & Television
I've done this before, but more often with movies and video games. -
I watched this anime for years, but I somehow missed the fucking ending. Never got to see how it concluded.

That was one of the few shows I actually watched on ABC on a regular schedule as a kid. Then it was back to Fox Kids when the show was finished. -
The problem with developing feelings for any alcoholic beverage is that the beverage will eventually be completely consumed. That is a tragedy in the making.

Per my signature, I was at the tail end. But I only really posted in IB when I was drinking.

I don't have romantic feelings for 12 year olds. Sorry.

Thought about it for a long time, but I don't think the $60 price tag fits. It's not even the "Dexit" controvery that gets me. It's that Pokemon has essentially followed the same formula since 1996, aside from the occasional spin-off game that changes things up a tiny bit. It boasts the bare minimum of growth (if any) in regards to plot and character development. The game also looks like something that could have easily been released on the 3DS with a price tag of $40. There are much more interesting games out there that warrant the $60 price tag. This isn't one of those titles.

Would totally do this if Discord didn't need to verify my identity with a phone text every time I tried using it. I hate that kind of shit.

I just want someone to feed me and tell me I'm handsome.

I have a TV, a Nintendo Switch, and a couch. That's pretty much it.

Pretty much this. I don't decorate for Christmas and people look at me like I have three heads when I tell them why I don't have a Christmas tree in the living room.
