My favorite place to get them is at the dollar store - you can get for or five really bad movies for cheap. (I got a disc with the first five Puppet Master movies for only $2 - that's 40 cents a movie, which is about what they're worth.)

Sadly, no. It's a small house - damned if I know why the builder put in an intercom - and you can hear the user's actual voice better than you can hear it over the speaker.

I still buy them from thrift stores. It's the perfect chance to build on my collection, and I'm not too picky about video quality unless it's a new movie or show that was built for HD. Then I break out the big bucks on Bluray.
