My kids do...they have been exposed to everything i watched to further their media intake to more than PlayStation and memes. I think most Gen X/Millennials see it as their duty to show kids things that weren't formulated with prompts and editing software.  Blew my son's mind showing him the 80s GI Joe movie.....ALL OF THIS IS DRAWN.

Idk what's wrong with your ki....Oh, thats right....

So what are you basing this assertion on, exactly🤔

I remember when I made my girls watch the original Planet of the Apes (it was running on AMC when the first reboot came out). They were so blown away by the end that they made a bunch of their friends watch it, too.

I'm surprised that you didn't make them watch The Giant Gila Monster unriffed.

I thought about it, but I was afraid they'd call CPS.

Classic movies generally refer to films produced during the "Golden Age of Hollywood," roughly spanning from the late 1920s to the mid-1960s (approx. 1927–1967). This era is defined by the studio system, the rise of sound, and specific, iconic stylistic conventions. Some broader definitions extend this period to include films up to 1970–1975, or define a classic as any highly influential film that is at least 20–30 years old.

Yes they are but what I was just saying I just think it's you know that younger people now the Gen Z and gen Alpha don't watch stuff before the date of their birth I don't know why it seems kind of odd because technically you know it's actually Sesame Street is older than me and I'm 40 not mentioning if they're religious they're reading holy texts that are centuries old

Dude.., you're just wrong this time.

Not sure where you're getting your analytics, but my son said all of his friends know Terminator, Star Wars and Aliens. And as far as old games, they were all forced to play pacman, contra and sonic the hedgehog....mario and zelda not so much, but i didn't expect zelda...i kinda get Mario not appealing to most of them because sonic was just "cooler"....but yeah, my son played matio

Then he started naming old marvel movies, but those don't qualify to me.

I'm mostly speaking for Z...i guess i cant speak on Alpha because i dont know a lot of preteens....

🤔 Do you?

I have a Gen Alpha brother. I once caught him singing California Dreamin, and all the Christmas classics are much older than him, so.
