wtf is the point of this?!?

I mean... the proud puppy killer has been in front of as many cameras as possible since shitler was elected.

They're trying to make things like this the new image of "justice" while downplaying all their own illegal actions so people will hopefully forget most the shit they do

Anyone remember Trump is a convicted Felon?

It's ok if you forgot, a lot of people have. Instead of owning any fuck up, they just push blame and deny. They use distraction tactics (very well) to make not just their constitutes, but a lot of people just kind of forget things.

They're essentially trying to say "not everyone who breaks the law and goes against the constitution is the boogeyman. This is the real boogeyman you should fear, and we have to bend laws to make you safe."

Welcome to project 2025!

The Trump administration now admits that Mr. Abrego Garcia’s removal was an “administrative error.” Moreover, Justice Department lawyers said in court papers that there was little they could do get him back from El Salvador, and have urged the judge overseeing the case to reject his family’s petition to bring him home, arguing that the White House cannot force the Salvadoran government to release him and that U.S. federal courts have no jurisdiction to order his release.

While Mr. Abrego Garcia’s case is separate from those of the Venezuelans who are challenging the administration’s use of the Alien Enemies Act, it raises some similar issues. Lawyers for the Venezuelans have persistently argued that their clients have had no opportunity to challenge accusations that they are gang members, and several have ended up in the same Salvadoran prison without any way of protesting their plight or returning to the United States.

And yet they had no problem springing the Tate brothers and bringing them over here. SMH Absolute BS anyway that they don't have the ability to get El Salvador to release these folks. If they got them to take them, they can obviously get them to release them. All the more reason these people need due process and sending anyone anywhere without it should be strictly prohibited, period.

I wonder how these guys are going to fare when the inevitable time Trump is not there comes and all anyone remembers them for is having their mouths placed firmly on his anus with muffled "more sir" over and over?

Ugh Trump just lies all the time. He’s still saying Biden fucked the economy when Biden had a really strong economy. Trump ruined it in a matter of days.

btw you know who can afford these gold cards?  People who run cartels and other people we don’t want here. Just cuz you got $ that doesn’t mean you’re not a criminal. We all know that it’s pretty much the opposite. People get rich because they’re criminals

https://www.smh.com.au/traveller/travel-news/an-australian-was-denied-us-entry-for-bizarre-reasons-he-s-not-alone-20250403-p5lov8.html

"One Traveller reader has vowed never to return to the US after he was detained last month for eight hours at New York’s John F. Kennedy airport, while his laptop and smartphone were examined by US border guards. He was finally deported back to Australia.

His “crime”? Taking a more circuitous route to the US to save on his airfare, though he stresses he was not accused of any actual “wrongdoing”.

“I feel like returning to the US under the current administration would be the equivalent of going back for your hat after escaping a devastating house fire,” says the reader, an Australian citizen who asked not to be named. “I have no wish to be burnt again.”

He arrived in the US following a 24-hour flight from Sydney to New York via Hong Kong, with Florida his planned final destination. From there he intended to board a cruise and says he is now $15,000 out of pocket due to the cruise line’s refusal to refund his fare.

What the hell are we doing? Seriously, WHAT THE HELL are we doing?! We're turning away now even people just coming to vacay from Australia? How is this at all keeping America safe? Besides from foreign tourist money I mean. Are we just moving to straight xenophobia now? Just really hard to see the rationale behind this one.

Every member of ICE should be shunned by their community.  Refuse them services.  Refuse them and their family members entry to businesses.  Do not accept "I was just following orders".

can't find my last post on this but the full appeals court reversed on the three-judge panel, this unitary executive case will be resolved by scotus

https://thehill.com/regulation/court-battles/5235598-trump-firings-court-ruling/

Isn’t he also appealing to the SCOTUS on the Abrego Garcia case where they were told to get him tf back into the country and that their “administrative error” isn’t an excuse to lose the guy forever because of the implications for allowing the administration to claim no jurisdiction

Yeah I saw Roberts put a stay on the court order that required them to have their shit together by midnight tonight, and now they have to get their briefs into him by Tuesday

Couldn’t they have told Trump “get fukt” and not hear the case. The case is so obviously “c’mon man” the SCOTUS cannot let the administration willfully ignore court orders and then say dumb shit like “we don’t have jurisdiction anymore”

Trump looking to use a rarely enforced 1996 law fining migrants under deportation orders $998 a day and he wants to do it retroactively. You cannot get blood from a stone. How does this make any sense. It makes as much sense as fining homeless people for sleeping outside. Fuckin unbelievable. It’s just take take take from the weak, poor and voiceless and give it to the rich

This administration is all about suffering, no matter how nonsensical.

The US military's Space Operations Command said Col Susannah Meyers had been removed from her role at Pituffik Space Base due to a "loss of confidence in her ability to lead".

another female in a strong position of power, removed.

all of these men-children, with such fragile egos. its so sad.

It’s so fuckin glaringly obvious that according to this administration no one is qualified unless they’re a white guy. Women only qualify if Trump would bang them. I can bet that’s how he hires women. “Would I stick my dick in them if I could?”
