Hahaha! I wish!  That place is still stupidly hard to get into.

I heard they randomly choose email addresses or some shit. It’s definitely something you gotta live nearby to do or be stupid wealthy and can fly at any time. Possibly just be lucky. All I know is I wanna go 😆

My entire family signed up when they first opened. Used our own emails and everything. Still nothing.

They are opening it up beyond a random lottery now, but Ive heard its still hard to get in.

Its just one of those things you have to go to. Its a real experience. Havent seen the updates, but the old version really was something else. South Park did it justice.

I’m glad they did. I had no idea that it was even a real place until Parker and Stone bought it. I like that they pay the staff decent so you don’t have to tip. I would anyway but still it’s a good study to see how much the staff likes or dislike it.  My brother is a bartender and I don’t think he would like straight salary. During covid he was make 30hr and it was still way short compared to tips

It was a total joke out here for years that they should buy the place and fix it up. Then Covid killed it, and they actually did. I remember going there as a kid. It was horrible food, and smelled like chlorine, but it was a great time. And the sopapillas were amazing.

The way they are treating their staff seems pretty good. I wish more people did that. Just pay your people a better wage and increase the food by a couple of bucks. Wayyyyyy better than stupid freaking tipping culture.

Sounds about right a few years back we blew a tank and went from first pick to like 10th or some shit. Whatever it was it was devastating but with that said we woulda blew the pick anyways.  Woody must be a real prick. No one in that organization seems to get good information on who to draft, which FAs to get or even what HCs and all that to hire. It’s 100% shit show all the time out there. I’m over here watching the Chiefs game just completely blown away by all the weapons Mahomes has at his disposal. But then it dawned on me, that’s what it’s like when an organization got its shit together and players trip over their own cocks to play for you.  NYJ can only offer money, but  not accolades. Legends ain’t coming out of MetLife. Not right now. Not in a long time. Fuckin sad af,  another season dead by October.

haha they scared me again last friday! stop trying to win meaningless games! just lose the season out and get a 1-3 pick and do this rebuild right. one win gets us in the 4-8 range which removes us entirely out of getting a qb! now that said, the team is far away than just being a qb away from competing. but we still gonna need a qb! makes sense to get one when the opportunity presents itself.

but yeah i definitely feel you over organizational level dysfunction. unfortunately you cant switch owners. you can only hope they get lucky and hire someone who knows what they are doing. or they die of old age and the team gets handed over to someone that knows. but jerry jones still around so it could be awhile.

Missing games are added please fix picks. Sorry about that ugh

I repicked, but like, did we really need to?

Is anyone going to take the Panthers of Raiders? I feel like those are kinda gimmies and you could have just given us all +2 lol

That’s true although I am thinking about picking the raiders. Sometimes the Buccs take a shit for no reason 😆

Jets officially out of playoff contention with this loss.  They pretty much had no chance anyway. Everyone would’ve had to lose, some people would have needed to die and an expansion team also would have had to get involved in some way. But now it’s official 😆🫠😆🫠

Watching highlights since I had to be outside today...I already knew we were gonna lose to the Vikings, but didn't figure they'd 100% us.

I had the Jets game on the radio and no one commentated, just a long, slow roast of Aaron. A fan was like Rogers had a chance to make a play people would be talking about for years and Teabag was like "Wow, that game winning play that boosted them to 4-9, yeah no one is putting that in the books...he could have ran for 100 by himself and no one would remember it"...shit was so disrespectful.

The media is always disrespectful to NY Jets. They never do anything good. It’s always the other team that was just bad.

I’m dying one of the Chargers Alt his dad was a lineman for the Chiefs. In an interview young Alt says “my dad used to take me to the basement to see his VCHS tapes or whatever you people called them” dead 😆😆

Gastineau laid into Favre over the gimme sack to Strahan.
Me and my other half met Gastineau and he asked about it. He told us then he blamed Favre for laying down for Strahan

Dude seems a little off.  I mean, a conspiracy between Favre and Strahan to get a a trash sack?

Yeah the two were friends. Favre has even said he did it to get it over with. Strahan didn’t get another sack the rest of the game. Meaning he probably wouldn’t have broken the record had Favre not “taken a dive”.

I just got a problem with the whole "trash sack" concept.  To be fair, Gastenau played in an era when quarterbacks didn't give up and you had to earn each and every sack.  It's not really fair to compare his record to that of Strahan's.  Still, nobody just gives up on a play that has a chance of success.  Maybe Favre decided to give up on a play to his buddy, but it's not like he was going to get a big gain on the play if he didn't.

So Belichick actually did it.

I don't know why a fossil taking a job so he won't fade into obscurity is such a big deal but here we are.

The NFL just plain didn't want him anymore. We're the only team that gave him a shot and still passed. I know I just have a biased perspective but I am interested to see what he does with a college team...That just me jumping out my own ass and giving him his props as a banger ass HC....but still, fuck this dude.

Favre has said it himself and analysts even say Favre did it. Strahan’s sack record should have an asterisk and that’s my opinion.  Gastineau isn’t mad at Strahan. He’s mad at Favre for just sitting down.  Plus the blocker that just let Strahan go

No, I get why he's mad.  But that fact remains Favre probably wasn't avoiding a tackle even if he avoided the initial run.  Favre was never as nimble as the latest generation of quarterbacks (like Mahomes), so the best he could hope for his throwing the ball aways and taking the hit.  The way I see it. Gastineau is angry because Brett Favre, a man with a history of concussions and the erratic behavior to show for it, didn't take a punishing tackle so that Strahan could "earn" the accolades he feels were being taken from him.

Bad as that sounds, I get it:  a lot of money is out there for former players who punish their bodies to the extreme and there is no question that Strahan has used his record to get into the Hall of Fame while Gastineau isn't.  Worse, he's suffering from Parkinson's and Alzheimers apparently.  The game encouraged him to destroy himself so that the could get fame and accolades, and another player chose to avoid the physical punishment and award with an asterisk the record to another less deserving player.  When he says "you hurt me," to Favre, that is what he means.

It's still misdirected.  Favre didn't conspire to have his friend win a record.  He gave himself too easily so that he didn't shorten his life another 10 years.  Gastineau should maybe be angry at the Jets for not taking better care of him.  He should be angry at the NFL for allowing the sport to be violent.  Maybe he should be angry at Strahan for not acknowledging him more.  But it doesn't help getting angry at an aging quarterback who chose to take care of himself rather than give value to a useless record.
