Buddy, if I thought the Republican party had any interest in doing any of these fantastical anti-war and anti-imperialist things you're claiming they support like disbanding NATO and ending the proxy war in Ukraine and leaving the rest of the world alone I would vote for them myself. Don't be such a rube.

tout est gore.

Well anyway....

Can't say I oppose this move given the climate of our legislature, but direct diplomacy better mean something along the lines of "Get the fuck out of Ukraine and Crimea and we don't put a Red Notice on Putin."

Seems like a move to come off as actively helping with the situation but it's kinda hollow with how vague they are.

It's meaninglessly vague; the United States hasn't been diplomatically engaging Russia already.  It's really just Democrats acknowledging there is a time limit on the American public support for the conflict.

Like their whole thing is "the whole international order is bullshit" and they're pretty flippant about disregarding international laws and norms, so combine that with extending the reach of their longstanding disregard for ethnic minorities within their own borders and then "it's just a little genocide to repopulate our far east"

Who would not love to ratify a peace treaty in the beautiful oasis of Phoenix, Arizona?

Not sure if they're incredibly naive or if they're just trying to score some political points.

Conflicting reports have the "Admiral Marakov", the ship that replaced the sunken "Moskva" as the flagship of the Black Sea, as being on fire, or that being "fake news".

He could have gone into military contracting instead of buying Twitter for no discernible reason and not only saved us a lot of time, but actually made money.  For all of Tesla’s public bullshit, you don’t think clean armored vehicles with a low risk of blowing up when their fuel is hit might be something the gubmit would want?

Then again, the Cybertruck is practically vapor ware at this point.

I'm sorry... did you just suggest Tesla's have a low chance of blowing up?

…This is why I’m debating between a Mustang Mach E or whatever the hell Dodge makes in 2024.

Any initial tactical advantage the Ruskies had was squandered by sheer incompetence and now they’re pulling out of the only place they actually secured.
