Have you ever seen someone take off their wedding ring irl?

I mean right before they're about to talk to/meet someone...

Slickest thing I ever saw....there's no way this is the first time....you gotta practice that sleight of hand

This is how I know I've matured....just a few years ago I would have yelled some shit out just to see what would happen.

Today, I just sit back and enjoy the show without judgment.......or, maybe a little judgment

I have seen it. I saw it done for….I don’t want to say the right reason, but…..Buddy just said it…

This is why the guy removed it. He kept getting hit on while he was (very obviously) waiting on his wife. Like it was obvious he was waiting on someone, and women kept approaching him and talking to him. Took off his ring, and it was like instant Thot-B-Gone. Put it back on when he saw his wife come in the door.

I've given some thought to buying a cheap engagement/wedding ring combo to wear in public so I can keep randos, particularly men, at bay. So far, I haven't been hit on yet. I'll take it off whenever I go to a gay/lesbian bar, in case some woman backs the mack on me. Or at least if I go to a doctor's office, so I don't get mistaken for actually being married.

this is the answer.

removing it is also a pretty fucking obvious play (for both genders). the tan line / finger indent really adds that flair of desperation to the whole encounter. :chefkiss:

If I’m wearing it while I’m out, I only take it off when I’m getting ready to eat. It is a non-suave lardass response, but if I’m eating with my hands or need to pick up a cup, my ring would either get messy or clank into everything I touch.
