If you're picked for Jury Duty and made it through Jury selection

Can you find out if your were chosen by the defense or the prosecution?

I feel like that's a good way to find out what kind of person people think you are....

I stood up and said I'd find the defendant not guilty regardless of the evidence, and I was not picked. I was relieved right then. Which is why I said what I said.

A feisty Judge could have cited you with contempt.

Wot?  You have to be agreed to by both - unless the Judge doesn't think either's reason for your dismissal is valid.

I was on a hysterectomy malpractice suit once. It was as good as it sounds. I was young and totally neutral so I think that’s why I was chosen.

Just tell us what kind of person you are.

I'm the kind of a person who cheered for the bad guys when he watched Power Rangers as a kid

Feisty and judge do not go hand in hand here. Most of the judges are a Big Mac away from a casket.

I once served on a jury. The verdict we made was not guilty. When it was all done, the prosecutor was waiting outside the courtroom and sarcastically said thank you to the people he chose. Apparently, I was chosen by the defendant, as the prosecutor didn't say anything to me.

Yeah, you don't get picked by sides here.  You get challenged out by sides, and the attorneys actually call out the jurors they are challenging out.  I got challenged out first thing by the prosecutor last time I was in JD.

My plan if I ever get picked is just to be honest with the judge. I'm gonna tell him I am an absolute scumbag. I will purposefully try to create a 12 Angry Man situation in that room and potentially sabotage that entire process.

The one time I had jury duty I did such a horrid job that the judge dismissed me in the middle of court saying they always pick one juror at random to dismiss.  They never invited me back.

I've never had it, though in high school we did a mock trial and I managed to sway the rest of the jury to a guilty verdict with just circumstancial evidence... Meow
