My fiancee used to be a club goer

I'm not that kind of person but I went with her one day. About an hour in, I was like a few beers and maybe 3 shots of tequila in and had a good buzz going, but then I saw it; some guy was trying to feel up my girl. Now, I've never been a confrontative guy, but I was not having it that night. Straight up pushed the guy and asked him what the fuck he's doing to my girlfriend. It was cliche'd as fuck. I was ready to square up. The guy's a local boy too, in Hawaii we have an equivalent to rednecks, cholos, chavs or whatever, called mokes. He looked more ready to throw down than I did and talked some major shit, but the tequila told me I could take him. Right when he and I were about to get into it, this huge Tongan bouncer steps in and lays down the law, graciously but firm. "You guys good? Don't start nothing boy." Now, when I say big, I mean like he had about 200 pounds on me, and I was like 230 myself, and the braddah had backup too about the same size. Of course I wasn't gonna start shit now, you don't fuck with Tongans. So I was like, "Yeah uncle, we good," definitely not feeling done with it. But yeah, I escorted my girlfriend out of the club and we haven't been to one since. xD That was like, 3ish years ago. I just thought of it right now and cringed so hard, but I'm kinda proud of myself for not pussing out back then.

I respect it as a means of letting off steam and I understood why people enjoyed it but it just wasn't for me. My girlfriend wanted to go and I was like, "okay, as long as I can drink." xD

if you're in a closed relationship and arent part of like a group of club going friends, then I think there's a lot better things to do as a couple than go to a club. Drinking smoking and fucking at home being one of them

She barely drinks and doesn't smoke (I couldn't either cuz asthma), but we have fucking covered just fine. ;)

From everything I've heard, you do not wanna piss off people from Tonga or American Samoa. Those folks are tough as nails. Maybe it's a learned bias from being a wrestling fan, I dunno.

Do not, under any circumstances, try to headbutt one.

I have followed through with just about every club altercation ive had with varying results.

Most epic win: Club plush at Nas concert....beat some clown ass NY dude in front of his pussy ass friends while my pussy ass friends just stood around watching. Me and my girl was beefing because she got in vip so i was jealous but my domination of some East Coast weenie had her back in my arms sometime the next morning when her homegirls told her of my heroism....yeah, the bitch didnt come home.

Most embarrassing £: i was in a bar that was ran by Vice Lords...I was a GD so while they wear red, we wear blue ( no, GDs and VLs are not boods and crips). So i was with my VL friends but somewhere along the line i forgot this fact and started talking shit to the wrong people....last thing i remember was a dude named big pew standing next to me and me saying something like come get me.  The next thing i remembered was waking up in the back of my cousin's car as he was taking my home with my eyes swollen. He wasnt even at the club.

Reminds me of a time at a college foam party where I went full Zeni and confronted a dude that was walking up to my girl. But when he was just asking where he was since he was likely zooted, I got embarrassed and just let him be to save face. He wandered off in the party and all was well, but felt bad cause I kinda looked like an asshole acting defensive towards a stoned guy based on the misunderstanding.

I don't do confrontations normally, unless it's like a moral/ethical stand that needs physical reinforcement or like fight or flight situations. Beefing for social status, especially if it's like a one-off thing, is really dumb to me.

One time a girl tried to steal my coke because she thought I was drunk enough to not notice and we got in to it.  She had on really tall wobbly stilletos and I ran full force and rammed her-knocked her the fuck over.  But she hit her head on one of those sharp metal built in the wall trash cans under the paper towel dispenser on the way down.  With me on top of her still. Her head and neck kinda crunched. Blood everywhere.  I thought I killed her and escaped out the window.

I found out a week or two later she was alive and okay. Her friend found her and called 911 after she didn't come back.  She had a concussion and needed stitches. Nothing ever happened because she had multiple warrants out so she didn't go to the police.

I......kinda don’t miss it, honestly. Having to work (be the club DJ) for hours on end is exhausting. Not to mention things like fights, spilled drinks, possible hearing loss, people at the booth, and having to hassle for getting paid some nights. It’s something I don’t miss as much as I thought I would.
