That doesn't cover your mouth at all dude.

With mine i can prettt much guarantee the id be getting more protection with a plastic barrier on top of my regular cloth one.

And believe me Id have bought it by now.

Question is mostly for my wife.

So i can say "see? I can do it."

You said 'decorative'..The under mask is going to do it's job anyway. The whole mask thing is more to prevent you spreading an infection anyway than to protect you from it. Viruses don't just spread when someone walks up to you and coughs straight in your face dude.

Meh well I'm all for the decorative thing, but I'm still going to argue it doesn't really matter past 1 layer of an effective face mask. Surgeons and med staff following high protocols and wearing the best face masks have still ended up getting infected. In the long run any mask at all doesn't help much if you are in a highly contaminated area. I agree it's better safe than sorry and a good face mask offers a little bit of protection..but mostly it's just there for peace of mind.

What about a biohazard suit?

Or those full face-sheild masks?

Those arent typical face masks, but I mean cdc approved biohazrd suits are supposed to be sealed head to toe and require oxygen tanks to even breathe in though don't they? That's kind of different.

Its to do both,

Not really, wearing a regular cloth mask doesn't really protect you at all since you're still breathing the air that the airborne virus is in, it's basically just for protecting others from you sneezing and shit.

Even the all hailed M-95 doesnt offer you complete protection. from airborne shit.. One could even go as far as to say wearing a plastic mask over one might just provide for extra contaminants to build up on it's surface and actually be a risk for all I know, but I'm not a virologist or anything of the sort. Just spitballing with that last part I guess.

I was thinking of this.. Fun fact though due to the plague killing so many and the filth and stench of it all a lot of plague doctors came to the ridiculous notion that they could purify areas with fragrances and that the stench was like a miasma they just needed to protect people from.. For example a lot of these "doctors" had tube systems connected to their masks that would pump whatever good fragrance they wanted like lavender etc through the mask.

And that rod he's wielding there? It was meant to position people properly onto the Judas chair.

Its a social distancing stick.

Also, no plague doctor masks, thats for sure in bad taste.

Hush, it's in excellent taste. Replace the hat with a MAGA cap and the stick with a selfie stick. Quarantine shitlord 2020.

Has no one seriously tried it yet? I'm honestly surprised there aren't a bunch of people posting videos of themselves wearing ones like those out. Here I thought there were more folks willing to make complete spectacles/fools of themselves out there. 😞

If I had to pick one to wear seriously though, I'd go with a Japanese style mask.
