Have to have an app to record our browser while taking an online midterm

He did approve of a few sites, but I'm tempted to leave a pornhub tab open or even hentai for the lulz. >__> Do you think it will hurt the grading of my midterm? The proctors will be overlooking 100s of browsers and webcams so I think they should get a chuckle after awhile. XD

wow school faculties must be really getting hip lol. I'm not sure I've ever had to do that even for tests I had to go to a proctor for when I did shit online. They might've had shit like that installed though.

Well it is for the computer science department, so they are all over that. But they do take cheating extremely seriously at this school, you even had to show your id before taking the exam to make sure another student isn't taking your place when we had in person interactions. lol

It's weird to me that people still find porn so taboo....I probably run across more porn on my FB than I actually search for.

Still feels like it's easy to cheat if you have a phone, tablet, or dual monitor setup.

I just took the test without doing anything, I did open up my google drive at one point, but it was just a blank sheet of paper.

We also had to have our cam on with a mic, I think one of my friends did try to call me to cheat, but I didn't answer the phone. Anyways, the videos are just me crying to myself on how I couldn't understand the prompts or get most of the answers. >__>

Hella students are pissed! A lot of them are complaining on our class forum saying the time was too short and the recording the browser and downloading our test a certain way flustered people during valuable test time. So hopefully he grades gently and gives a lot of us breaks.

Well with the virus, it was a system that was implemented in less than a week. They also didn’t account for internet problems but he also rewrote the test within a week since it was online and had to formatted a certain way.

if thats the case they should have a do over or be a lot more lenient since they did fumble themselves.

Hoping for lenience. Also this midterm was technically optional. He gave us the option to take it if we were too overwhelmed but our points earned in the final would be factored into this midterm. I talked to a lot of TAs about it and said it was smarter to split our points out evenly instead of risking it on one test. But I think those of us who were brave enough to CHOOSE to take the midterm deserve an extra reward.
