They were having a great conversation and he felt the time was right and kissed her on the lips and she reacted very awkwardly and didn't say anything for the last 10 minutes, at which time he went home. Apparently that coworker has a tendency to tell the bosses about everything that goes on. Should he be worried?

He didn't do it in a mean or angry way. It was passionate from what I understand.

doesn't matter, it all comes down to how the gal handles it. If she's the feminist type she could spin that to make it sound like *he raped her.

One more thing, going along with what I said, after rereading the first post, you saying that coworker has a tendency to tell the bosses about everything, it would also depend on how the bosses decide to handle it. One that's of the calm and rational variety probably wouldn't follow up on it, but if you have one of those corporate bosses with sticks up their asses then they could try having your friend crucified.

So where is your friend working now? Or was working, depending on how this plays out.

Be honest. She immediately kneed your friend in the groin after his sad attempt at a kiss, and it took him 10 minutes to recover.

I mean, it can happen.

You never really know how a lady can respond to that, or bosses if it reached them, or even people gossiping about it.

In the post-Me Too world of today......It's a pretty good bet that it has reached higher-ups. Also....they are probably fired. Just saying

Probably not actually Mr. Kingdom Hearts, Sailor Moon, and Barbie fan.. I'll ask my friend tomorrow if he's still in good shape at his job. I suspect he is, considering he's a manly man who intimidates everyone.

Yeah, try again.
You couldn't be farther off. Especially with someone who used to work in HR.
