For real I got off at 8pm tonight, and my store was one of the last to close in this town. 🙄   I'm trynna turn up! I mean not really, but I think the gas station I worked at years ago is gonna be the only thing open tomorrow watch.

Stupid / ignorant white person question warning: Is there any grain of truth to the "black people don't swim" stereotype? Where did it come from?

Me, as a white kid, absolutely would have swam it, but as a white adult, I would much rather walk it any day of the week.

Lol tbh that's more of a stereotype than anything. Same with asians can't drive, Jews are greedy etc. Just basic bitch things to say about race tbh. Black people are more than capable of swimming. In fact, Micheal Phelps should thank his lucky stars that Lebron chose basketball.

There are racists in every profession, but everybody only talks about black people's struggle with cops...

At least cops have to break a sweat....lie to somebody... plant evidence....the whole nine....but a racist life guard just has to not notice you out there....

So ask yourself....is it that black people can't swim.....or have we been the victims of a decades long conspiracy by the aquatic wing of the KKK o.O

Wings are almost literally a completely different food than all other forms of chicken.   Wings exist above all other portions of yardbird.

Lack of options to learn to swim.  Not allowed in "Whites Only" pools.  Even in the more liberal North, like Chicago, there were Whites only & Blacks only beaches along Lake Michigan with vague delineations.  There were riots, partly due to this stupidity.

You told it wrong.  

Jesus and the Pope are out on a boat.  The Pope's big hat blows off in a sudden gust of wind.  Jesus gets out of the boat, walks across the water, retrieves the hat and returns to the boat.  A reporter witnesses the whole incident and the next day the headline reads, "JESUS CAN'T SWIM!!!!".
